Have you ever thought about jumping from a light aircraft? Well, wait no longer because it's such an unforgettable experience that you'll want to do it again. If you're worried about what you might feel during the fall, rest assured - the only sensations you'll notice are an adrenaline rush and a very special tingling sensation.
If you're looking for strong emotions, skydiving is your solution. Without doubt it's one of the most thrilling extreme sports, as you'll experience flying like a bird while descending from about 4,000 metres altitude. Words can't properly explain the feeling: you have to live it.

When you board the light aircraft, you'll feel butterflies in your stomach and nerves that might make you think "what on earth am I doing?". Although undoubtedly, the moment when you'll want to be as far away as possible is when the instructor opens the light aircraft door and it's time to jump... This is the point of no return, when you simply have to throw yourself into the void and start enjoying!
One of your concerns might revolve around jump safety. These doubts are normal because you value your life and want to live many years, but skydiving is an adventure sport where you have nothing to fear. All equipment is certified and statistically you're more likely to have a car accident than during a skydive.
For your first jump, we most recommend a tandem jump - where you're attached to a qualified, highly experienced instructor. You'll enjoy freefall for about one minute while admiring the landscape at approximately 200 kilometres per hour. When you're about 1,500 metres above ground, the instructor will open the parachute, leaving you to relax for 5 more minutes, going with the flow and wishing the activity would never end...

When you land and process the jump, the only thought in your head will be "I want to do it again". But the most exciting part is learning to jump solo, which is why we recommend taking a basic skydiving course (AFF) where you'll begin intensive training and obtain the necessary certification. Theoretical lessons will teach you everything about equipment, aircraft procedures and, of course, parachute handling. Practical sessions will help you apply what you've learned, from basics to performing aerial manoeuvres.
Without doubt, this isn't something you should overthink - you only live once and crazy experiences like this are a must! Moreover, once you try it, you'll most likely want to go skydiving again whenever possible.
