If last week we talked about discovering Madrid in a different way, today we’re bringing you closer to another of Spain’s great cities: Barcelona. To do this, I’ll suggest a series of guided tours—but not just any tours. These will show you the Catalan capital from a unique perspective, revealing its anecdotes, mysteries, and legends. Shall we begin?
Essential Barcelona in 3 Hours and 30 Minutes (€12)
Is it your first time in Barcelona, and do you want to see the highlights without spending an entire day? This tour is perfect for you. We’ll start at Plaça Catalunya, making our first stop in the Gothic Quarter to explore its cathedral and Plaça Reial.

Next, we’ll wander through the streets of El Born and La Ribera, where you’ll encounter Santa Maria del Mar. The medieval streets will then lead us to the Palau de la Música, a stunning example of Modernist architecture.
Las Ramblas, with its iconic Boqueria Market, the Liceu Theatre, and Park Güell, are the final stops before returning to our starting point.
Mysteries and Legends of Ciutat Vella Tour (€11)
A journey through history and the neighbourhoods that form the heart of the city. Ciutat Vella, El Born, El Raval, and the aforementioned Gothic Quarter are all part of this route.

Accompanied by an expert guide, your steps will be enriched with insights into the history, architecture, art, and society of these areas. We’ll start at Plaça dels Àngels, with explanations about El Raval’s most modern transformations.
Later, you’ll travel back to the 15th century to discover the Hospital de la Santa Creu. The Fossar de les Moreres will mark the end of our journey.
Masonic Barcelona (€12)
Freemasonry. Everyone’s heard of it, but few truly understand it. Want the truth? This tour will take you to the places in Barcelona where this secret society has left its mark.

This activity will reveal the truth, objectives, and intentions of this movement. Through symbolism and the streets of the Catalan capital, you’ll distinguish fact from legend. Note that the tour is fully accessible for those with reduced mobility and includes a knowledgeable guide.
Electric Bike Tour (€22)
Tired of walking? Here’s another way to explore the city—how? With an electric bike, so you won’t waste energy pedalling.
We’re swapping foot travel for two wheels, but the experience remains the same: a specialised guide will turn every pedal stroke into a bite of culture and history as you pass Barcelona’s most iconic landmarks.

Over two hours, you’ll ride through the Gothic Quarter and the emblematic Plaça Catalunya. Gaudí’s masterpieces, like La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, will also be on your route. And of course, we’ll stop at the Sagrada Família.
Now, embracing the spirit of the season, here are some perfect Halloween-themed tours.
Halloween in the Heart of the Gothic Quarter (€15)
The Gothic Quarter hides many secrets. Its narrow alleys and architecture transport us to bygone eras—times of unsolved murders and dark legends. On this two-hour tour, you’ll delve into its chapels, basilicas, and even the seat of the Spanish Inquisition.

This route avoids tourist hotspots, instead immersing you in lesser-known, shadowy corners. Your guide? A specialist in the subject—also a journalist armed with the grisliest details of each crime.

Theatrical Tour: Barcelona’s Dark Side (€10)
Fancy discovering where Barcelona’s demons and ghosts dwell? Or better yet—do you dare? Come and uncover the city’s paranormal legends.

You’ll be accompanied by a guide—but be warned: he’s not human. He’s a ghostly legend, the infamous Fra Garí, Barcelona’s most famous spirit. For two hours, he’ll lead you through the most haunting tales of Las Ramblas and other eerie locations.
Are you ready?
