If you're considering having your children learn a sport, the horse riding camps at Pirineo Ecuestre are the best option. They’ll also discover the importance of nature.
Their horse riding camps, set in the stunning surroundings of the Aragonese Pyrenees, will allow your children to learn an ancient sport while fostering a sense of responsibility that comes with caring for a living being. Because they won’t just learn to ride—they’ll also get hands-on experience cleaning, grooming, feeding, and looking after the horses.

And if they already know how to ride, they’ll find the perfect place to practise this highly beneficial sport for young people, with three sand arenas, one grass arena, and a fun cross-country course.
What sets Pirineo Ecuestre apart from other companies? Their professionalism and dedication are hard to find elsewhere. The camps for kids they run are organised by their official riding school, certified by the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation (RFHE) and staffed by instructors qualified by both the federation and the Spanish Sports Council.

At the end of the camp, students can take the official "Galopes" exams, part of the RFHE's rider training programme. Beginners can take the Galope 1 exam, while others can progress to the next level above their starting ability.

What else can you expect from these horse riding camps?
Most importantly: personalised programmes. They accept children of all levels, from beginners to experienced riders. How? They limit groups to just 6-8 students per instructor, depending on the activity. The total number of campers (around 30 per session) is divided into groups of similar skill levels to ensure optimal learning and progression.

Nowadays, it’s rare for children to grow up surrounded by nature, so sending your kids to Pirineo Ecuestre is the best way not only to connect them with the environment but also to immerse them in the world of horses. Beyond riding lessons, the centre also offers additional training with workshops on veterinary care, farriery, and saddlery.
It’s also an international camp, meaning your children will meet peers from all over the world: France, England, the US, Germany... Kids come to Pirineo Ecuestre to learn riding—and Spanish. While they receive two hours of daily Spanish lessons, your children will study English or French (their choice) with native-speaking teachers. This diversity is enriching, and outside the classroom, they’ll naturally practise communicating in different languages.

Language classes run for two hours a day (including 30 minutes outdoors with the horses), and teachers join the students’ daily routine, helping them expand their vocabulary and improve spoken fluency. What’s the goal? To help students master the language in a fun, immersive environment, encouraging faster learning.
During free time, children can enjoy other activities led by leisure and recreation monitors. Pirineo Ecuestre also offers English-language camps where kids can improve their language skills.

What more could you ask for in a holiday destination for your children? Since they’ll be surrounded by nature, why not choose a place with breathtaking views? Look no further—Pirineo Ecuestre is nestled in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, with natural pools formed by the Aragón River where students can swim in the summer.
The equestrian centre is open year-round, as is its riding school. They have 30 horses of various breeds, suitable for both lessons and trail rides; 4 training arenas; and a cross-country course. Accommodation? The on-site Hotel Charlé offers rooms for 4 or 6 people, each with a private bathroom.
Riding camps run for one or two weeks, while multi-adventure camps last 15 days and are open to boys and girls aged 8 to 17. For more information, don’t hesitate to contact them.
