The surf scene is celebrating, as growing numbers of enthusiasts are drawn to this adventure sport that leaves audiences awestruck, pitting man against nature. Wild waves provide the ultimate stage for this practice, where skill is the greatest virtue of those who dedicate themselves body and soul – or at least try to – to this fantastic sport.
The fifth edition of one of the must-attend festivals for any self-respecting surfing enthusiast has arrived. This coming weekend, we'll witness the reunion of pioneers, legendary surfers and passionate devotees of retro surf.

Beach culture will be ever-present as we witness this sport in its purest form, with authentic surfing legends arriving with their families while historically charismatic figures – some of the most representative names not just nationally but internationally – will give their all in an unmissable spectacle.
But where can we experience this event? The chosen location is Cantabria's Liencres Beach, the perfect setting for a weekend where surfing will be surrounded by good vibes, soul, live music, barbecues, screenings, a gathering of retro boards and, inevitably, the best energy imaginable.

Don't miss this surf festival where both this water sport and art (who says surfing isn't art?) will be tangible in the atmosphere. This is an event where beach meets rock&roll, with all the atmosphere that entails. Musicians, artists and creators from the surf scene, film-makers and many more will descend upon this fantastic beach nestled within a Natural Park with truly special charm.
Everything is ready for attendees to enjoy themselves like never before and experience one of the most thrilling moments of the surfing summer. The programme itself boasts top-tier activities to keep you entertained every single moment, offering incredibly diverse experiences united by one passion: surfing.
"Festival-goers" will find offerings to suit all tastes and needs – from retro board exhibitions (where modern boards have no place) featuring twin-fins, bonzers and experimental replica boards alongside single-fin designs. Original boards are welcome if you're interested in showcasing yours, provided they're over two decades old.

There's nothing quite like watching surfers from the '70s, '80s or '90s in action or enjoying the excellent World Championship of Cantabrian Alaias and Planquins, where primitive and indigenous surfing styles will take centre stage. After a busy day, unwind at the Karma Party with paella, live music and screenings – an absolute must.
Family activities also feature prominently, with multiple generations of surfers competing together in a particularly fun atmosphere. Throughout the weekend, you'll also find surfing-themed exhibitions of all kinds, board testing sessions, art contests open to creators of all ages and endless surprises. Are you really going to miss it?
