Company Overview
Welcome to Twycross Zoo
Located in Warwickshire, we are a specialist primate zoo that has been open for over 50 years. Only closing on Christmas Day, we are open all year round for a fun day out for all the family. We are set within 80 acres and have over 900 animals and more than 160 species for you to see, including a wide variety of monkeys and apes. We have breeding programme for many endangered primate species, and so often have babies here for you to see.
As well as primates other animals that you can see here at the zoo include:
- Ring-tailed lemurs
- Giant tortoises
- Penguins
- Snakes
- Meerkats
- Birds
- Leopards
We make a great day out for school groups and have an award winning Education Department, who provide educational and fin sessions all linked to the curriculum and suitable for all age groups.
Our facilities include a restaurants and cafes and excellent conference facilities.
