Celler Bàrbara Forés

Celler Bàrbara Forés has always followed the philosophy of combining technology and tradition, in the right measure, so that both things bring the best to the wine. Located in Gandesa, in the La Terra Alta region, it is located in an ideal location for grape cultivation.

The name pays tribute to the family's great-great-grandmother, who began passing on the knowledge of making wines to her son. This one, she built the winery and began bottling the valuable red broth.

The winemaking knowledge and tradition of this family has been passed on from father to son for more than a hundred years.

The winery underwent a major renovation in 1994, incorporating new machinery and adapting the building to new times.

We treat each variety separately in the production area. In the aging room, the wines rest in French oak barrels and ceramic jars. A room for tastings and customer service was also built.

The weather conditions, with many hours of sunshine and little rainfall, help the grapes ripen well. The vineyards are also surrounded by a beautiful landscape.
