Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana

Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana is a winery that offers wine tourism within its own facilities in Cádiz. The idea of visiting the winery is conceived from a human point of view, since the intention is to make visitors experience a winery moment. Visits can be individual or in groups.

Wine tourism is becoming more and more present, and it can be shared with your partner, friends, co-workers or a family member.

We have two visit options:

• Visit to the vineyard. This activity is intended for you to walk through our facilities and discover the production process, see how the grapes are picked, how they are processed, how the broth ferments, how it ages... etc.

• Visit to the winery. Find out where the wines are stored and do a degustation tasting. In addition, you can have lunch at the facilities from Monday to Saturday.

During the visit you learn the winemaking and aging process of the house's Manzanillas, Sherrys and Brandys. At the end, a guided tasting is carried out in which you will understand the necessary steps to distinguish the various wines and savor them with all your senses.

To conclude, it is recommended to visit the Tapas Bar of the place to eat typical tapas from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, of course accompanied by a glass of the wines produced here.
