Volcanic Tours

Take a look at the most peculiar coves of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park from the Almeria port of San José with the ideas we give you at Volcanic Tours. The best way to get involved in its landscapes is through:

- Ride in our semi-rigid inflatable boat: we have worked on setting the most interesting routes so that you can see Monsul Beach, reach Isleta del Moro or Take a walk around the Escullos. They are outings lasting a minimum of 60 minutes for the whole family in the morning and afternoon. We will meet to get on the boat on the San José promenade where Níjar is located.

In addition to the sea tour, you can book a route in which we spend more than half an hour stopping to snorkel. If you feel attracted to yoga, we will take you to a very quiet beach within these points for a session with a professional trainer.

- Diving courses: both to begin with, with a baptism, and to graduate or refresh knowledge in the case of those divers who have not gone into the water for a long time. Our discover scuba diver can be done from the age of 12.

- Kayak excursions: 2 and 3 hours with time to use the snorkeling equipment and follow the tracks of the volcanic rocks throughout the park.

At Volcanic Tours we want your first experience as a diver to be in Cabo de Gata since this setting guarantees that you will be immersed in a natural spectacle while you learn to dive.

As our diving is aimed at people who have no experience, we provide a personalized adventure for one person, two maximum. From the beginning, participants will receive training under the supervision of an official PADI instructor who will give the instructions they need to know to be safe under the sea surface.

In total we will spend 3 hours in which we initially dedicate ourselves to getting to know the parts that make up the diving equipment. Then we leave from Níjar in the direction of the point where we will dive since we will not make the final decision until we see what conditions the sea presents at that moment. Once there you will test the equipment underwater, getting used to breathing with it.

This underwater baptism can be done by anyone who knows how to swim minimally and is at least 12 years old. Although this experience is very easy, if you want something even simpler you have snorkeling from the boat.

If you want to go directly to obtaining your diving license, ask us for the Open Water Diver with which you will be authorized and ready to dive up to 18 meters.

At Volcanic Tours we take you through the most outstanding places of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park sailing. For this we have a comfortable inflatable boat that can carry up to 11 people, with our skipper, with which we can get close to the cliffs without altering the environment.

With this boat we organize several types of excursions:

- To see the Almeria coastal landscape: starting from the San José beach with options of 1 hour to go to Monsul beach, 90 minutes to get to the Arrecife of the Mermaids or if you prefer to the Isleta del Moro, and 2 hours. In the latter we have time to reach the Vela Blanca or the Escullos area.

- To snorkel: 120-minute departures at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. available for adults and children. We will leave the boat with a 45-minute stop at Los Escuellos or at the White Veil to swim and see the seabed with the glasses we carry.

- Combined with a yoga session: the most relaxing of our proposals since, to the trip on the boat, we add a 90-minute yoga class on a spectacular beach in the area. It is an activity that we do from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the morning.
We have prices for children at a reduced rate to which the best 12 years old can apply.
