Company Overview

The Ahoy Centre, a great charity based in Deptford, offers learn to row courses as well as RYA qualifications in;

  • Powerboating
  • Sailing

Using sailing and rowing to change the lives of young and disabled people, The Ahoy Centre is always after volunteers – both adults and youth, and also has three rowing challenges that you and your team can compete in to raise money for The Ahoy Centre.

For adults, The Ahoy Centre needs people to help with reception and admin type things, fundraising activities and for qualified people to help with the water activities that The Ahoy Centre runs, as well as with maintenance. Youth volunteers will learn how to sail and row so that they can go and help others, and can gain RYA qualifications.
