There are tremendously fun sports and almost all of them are done in the water taking advantage of the movement of the waves. This is the case of Paddle Surf or also known as Stand Up Paddle Surf, which basically consists of staying on top of a board and moving forward with a paddle in the direction you want.

From Surfmaspalomas school we give you the opportunity to do it along the coast of Gran Canaria and you can choose between two options:

• Paddle Surf Course: it is given at an initiation level since we want everyone to be able to participate in it. It is an extraordinary experience so we invite you to come with several friends because we assure you that you will have a better time. But if you come alone, don't worry because you won't be bored either.The courses are done in groups so you will meet other athletes who also want to train in this modality.
  
• Coastal route: When you manage to maintain balance on the board, you will be qualified to do this excursion. If you have a minimum of balance, it will cost you almost nothing and very soon you will start paddling in search of hidden coves, very blue waters and sensations that you will have a hard time forgetting.

Surfing is one of the sports that you have to practice at least once in your life, especially if you are a lover of the sea and the activities that can be done on its shores.

With Surfmaspalomas school you can acquire new surfing knowledge and techniques for the level you choose. You just have to decide the duration (2, 6 or 10 hours) and the type of level:

• Initiation: It is a first contact. With these classes you will be able to stay in the first meters of water and try not to fall when the tide pushes the waves. Once you master this technique you will have everything to go a little further into the Canarian beaches and chase the biggest waves.
  
• Professionals: If you belong to this category, you can participate in the course or rent the material on your own. This course is not just a set of classes but it is an entire experience that you will share with other surfers.

We will need you to bring your board and wetsuit to participate in the classes. If you don't have one, we can always leave it for you at Surfmaspalomas school since we have boards for adults, for children and for anyone who comes to visit us.

With the windsurfing courses that we teach at Surfmaspalomas school you will not only enjoy great days among the waves of Gran Canaria but you will become a professional capable of flying with your board . Furthermore, you will do it on one of the best beaches on the island, inPlaya del Inglés.

The simplest courses (2, 6 and 10 hours) are the ones we organize for children. We usually do them in the summer, although during weekends and holidays we can prepare one if there is a sufficient number of participants. Children are the ones who enjoy it the most since they don't take it so much as a sport but as a very fun experience on the beach.

Adults will have windsurfing classes whatever their level. We love to train everyone who comes from the most basic level and that you acquire all the techniques well to continue moving up the category. For those with a higher level, we will teach them to make turns in the air and handle the board and sail when the sea is rougher and the wind blows with all its force.
