Our club is a great way for sailors to enjoy their passion with others, while enjoying the use of our boats and always having people to sail with.
Our bareback yacht charters give those who do not own a boat the chance to enjoy the beauty of sailing without having to spend a fortune.

Summary Sailing
Come out and learn to sail with us at Classic Sailing Club Sailing! Set in the Suffolk Yacht Harbour, we have brilliant waters for learning to sail whether you are a beginner or a more experienced salty dawg.
Our sailing instructor Richard Wells is RYA certified as a Sailing Course Instructor. Our courses are run at the weekends or over a 5 day period. We run our training on various different boats which means you will become familiar onboard different vessels.
The following are RYA courses that we offer:
- Start Yachting Course
- Competent Crew Practical Course
- Day Skipper Practical Sailing Course (Tidal)
- Coastal Skipper Practical Sailing Course (Tidal)
- Preparation course for the 'RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Sailing Practical Examination
- All other standard RYA courses can be given

Welcome to the Suffolk Yacht Harbour Yacht Charters, where you can enjoy your hobby of sailing by hiring out one of our specutacular vessels. We boast a brilliant fleet of yachts for your sailing from Caressa to Maria. We are situated in a marvelous location at the Suffolk Yacht Harbour which offers easy access to the Thames, the Meday, Blackwataer, Crouch or for sailing up north.
In order to take out one of our boats you must be certified by RYA, and if you are not we do offer official RYA courses.
Hiring out one of our boats works on a points basis and the size and the time you wish to book her is factored into the cost.
