Welcome to St Ives Boat Trips

We have been running boat trips from our location in St Ives for more than 44 years, and so have a wealth of experience and local knowledge to share with you. Our team will provide you with a warm and friendly service, and an enjoyable trip exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Our fishing trips include Wreck and Reef fishing and Mackerel fishing.

Our mackerel trips last around 1 and a half hours to 2 hours. We catch mackerel in the traditional way by handline, which is proved to be the most effective way to catch them. You will receive a 5 minute demonstration from our skipper on how to work the lines to catch the fish, and our skipper will be on hand to give you more help and instruction if you need it.

We also provide Wreck and Reef Fishing, which usually last around 4 and a half hours. Bait and tackle can be supplied but do let us know in advance. Don´t worry if you have no previous experience, our skipper and crew are there to help if required.

We also offer private Charter fishing trips, and if you require longer at sea do let us know, we can cater to your groups requirements.

Our fishing trips are also a great way to see the wildlife whilst you are out on the water and enjoy the beautiful coastline.

Our Boats

We have two boats, The Cornish Crest and Dolly Pentreath. Both are fully licensed by the Maritime Coast Guard Agency and Mecal to carry 2 crew, 12 passengers and one baby under one. Of course safety is paramount, and there are also life jackets onboard for all passengers and a 14 man life raft. For your comfort we also have toilet facilities onboard, an open deck for you to enjoy, but also a comfortable cabin where everyone can take shelter in case of bad weather. You are also able to bring your own food and drinks onboard.

We can cater for smaller and larger groups, and make a wonderful day out for families and groups of friends.
