Welcome to Siblyback Lake Outdoor + Active Centre, a fabulous outdoor activity centre based on the shores of Siblyback Lake beside Bodmin Moor. We offer a wide variety of exciting activities to be enjoyed in the great outdoors and we welcome all ages and abilities!
We offer a long list of activities and our chief instructor Simon Turner is our leader when it comes to training. For some activities we do offer you the possibility to come along and use of facilities if you own your own equipment:

Summary Canoeing
At Siblyback Lake Outdoor + Active Centre Canoeing you have the option of hiring a Canadian canoe or even launching your own craft and paddling our lake. Based on Siblyback Lake situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor, we offer wonderful waters for relaxing canoe paddling!
You can cruise around the lake at your own leisure, taking in the stunning views of Siblyback and the surrounding countryside from the water. This is a great family activity outing or a great adventure to have with friends and family. All ages and levels are welcome. If you own your own canoe, you are by all means welcome to come and paddle on the lake.

Summary Fishing
Welcome to Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre Fishing, located at Siblyback Lake situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor offering great Trout fishing!
We offer a warm welcome to all Trout anglers, whether beginners or experts. Siblyback is an extremely popular premier fishery (fly fishing only) which is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout up to 8lb!
We have six angling boats and also a wheelyboat for disabled anglers. Day and Season permits are available and we also offer angling tuition session on request.
A number of fishing competitions take place at Siblyback Lake, including the annual Snowbee Team Bank competition (open to teams of 4) held every June.

Summary Kayaking
Our lake at Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre Kayaking offers a fantastic body of water for learning to paddle! Our sheltered and tide free waters are a safe environment for kayaking and we offer official BCU Star courses and kayaking experiences.
We offer the BCU 1 Star course, which is a 1 day and teaches you all of the basic skills of paddling a kayak and maneuvering the boat. This is suitable for anyone over 8 years old and adults as well.
We can also accommodate groups and individuals alike and school trips, Hen and Stag dos and Corporate and Teambuilding events are more than welcome! We can offer kayaking as part as a Taster Session or a multi-adventure day!

Welcome to Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre Powerboating where you can learn how to drive a powerboat! We offer official RYA courses and outstanding training from our qualified instructors on our waters on Siblyback Lake beside Bodmin Moor.
Whether you are looking to acquire the necessary skills to be able to drive a powerboat or you are looking at becoming a powerboat instructor, we offer something for you.

At Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre Sailing we have fabulous facilities and excellent waters for learning and enjoying the marvelous and classic watersport of sailing. We are based on Siblyback Lake beside Bodmin Moor which offer sheltered and tide free waters, providing a safe and tranquil place to learn to sail according to the RYA program.

Wakeboarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre Wakeboarding has the only clockwise cable wakeboarding system in the UK and the first system in Devon and Cornwall.

Windsurfing at Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre Windsurfing is a fantastic idea! Based on Siblyback Lake beside Bodmin Moor, we boast fabulous, sheltered waters and excellent RYA courses and qualified instructors.

Summary Archery
Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre sits on the edge of Bodmin Moor making it an ideal location for learning archery. Indoor and outdoor facilities are available, perfect for groups and individuals to learn of practice this relaxing sport.
We offer the following archery activities:
- Archery Taster Sessions - 2 hours of tuition with a qualified instructor
- Outdoor and Active Weeks - An action-packed activity week for young people aged 8 - 16. Five days of sailing windsurfing, kayaking, raft building and land-based activities. (Activity type depends on the weather)
- Team Building - A rafting and land based activity day - maximum of 12 people.
- Birthday Specials - Children can enjoy their birthday at Siblyback Lake both on the water and on land. Birthday parties can also catered for in our cafe or there are also BBQ and picnic facilities, a children's play area, changing facilities and showers available to use afterwards.

Welcome to the Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Active Centre High Ropes, where all the gang will be able to tackle our 40 foot high ropes course with its thrilling challenges and obstacles! We offer a beautiful location on Siblyback Lake beside Bodmin Moor will lush woodlands that are perfect for your tree top adventure.
You will be led around our course by one of our qualified instructors who will always be on the ball, ensuring a safe and fun day. This is a excellent activity for individuals, groups and the whole family! Children as young as 8 may come along as long as parents sign a consent form.
