Summary Sailing

Sea Way Vela, a nautical school in Cattolica (RN), offers courses to obtain a nautical license within 12mg and without distance limits from the coast. Furthermore, you will be able to learn useful and interesting insights into: estimated, coastal and offshore navigation, theoretical/practical courses to address issues related to navigation.

The courses are divided based on navigation level. You can choose between:

"Basic" course: To access the "BASIC" sailing course you do not need any sailing experience, just a desire to learn and a love for the sea. The course includes two theoretical lessons in the classroom and two boat trips in one weekend;
"Coastal" course: the coastal navigation course is aimed at those who already have a fair amount of nautical training. Designed to provide new drivers with a practical complement to the theoretical notions included in the program for obtaining the driving licence. The course will take place over two weekends and will cover all the nautical topics (Anchoring and Mooring, Weather, Safety, Instrumentation, Galley, etc.) essential for safely conducting a coastal cruise;
Altura Course: Aimed at those who already have good nautical knowledge, it covers all the topics relating to long navigations, including an essential theoretical/practical approach to Astronomical, Orthodromic and Radio-assisted Navigation. The course takes place in a week of full immersion on board and offshore sailing in Croatia departing from Rimini.

Summary Boat Rental

SeaWay Yacht Charter is a company providing services for boating and a consulting agency for practices relating to pleasure boating, including registrations in foreign countries. The services offered also extend to the Nautical School and the excellent Boat Rental service.

The fleet in direct and indirect availability includes:

two Bavaria 35 Cruisers, used both for charter and for offshore sailing courses in single or flotilla,
a Bavaria 31 Cruiser for daily rental.

The two splendid Bavaria 35 Cruiser are composed of three cabins and 1 bathroom; and equipped with Bimini, Sprayhood, tender, battened mainsail (fullbatten), as well as the optional outboard and gennaker services, the Bavaria 31, on the other hand, consists of two cabins equipped with a bathroom with rollable mainsail.
