Pepe’s Dive Center

Pepe’s Dive Center we are your diving center that organizes underwater expeditions in the Cabo Pulmo National Park. Our diving instructors are local, bilingual specialists who will take you to explore the best areas of the Sea of Cortez.

We have been organizing diving excursions since 1984, taking you on excursions with one or 2 tanks on private trips or with other divers. All expeditions include the boat, the captain and the certified PADI Dive Master guides. If you have certification you cannot miss a visit to the Sea Lion colony or reaching the Little Mermaid cave.

We also have diving equipment rental for those who want to dive independently, although for this we ask for your PADI license. You can rent everything from the neoprene suit to the weights or the tanks.

Additionally, taking advantage of the fact that we are located in the Sea of Cortez, we organize "Whale Watching" excursions during the winter months and see humpback and gray whales up close.

Pepe’s Dive Center we are the diving experts in the Cabo Pulmo National Park. We have been organizing excursions and offering services for more than 20 years. We are the best local guides who can direct your dive.

If you want adiving excursion through the national park, we have a very varied daily offer for divers of all levels. We organize outings throughout the morning and they can be of 2 types: shared with other people who also want to dive or private just for you and the people you go with.

In order to participate in our diving excursions it is necessary that you have an international certification that authorizes you to dive. Likewise, this license is also necessary if you want to rent diving equipment and carry out your expedition on your own.

At Pepe's Dive Center we organizediving courses for you. If you are a beginner, we invite you to try this experience in a class we call "Introduction to diving." If you like it, go ahead and get certified.

At Pepe’s Dive Center we take you to the heart of theSea of Cortez to be able tosee whales very closely. Every year between the months of November and March hundreds of gray and humpback whales arrive along the Pacific coast looking for warmer waters and seeing them is quite a spectacle.

Excursions run daily during this season. Get on board our boats and as a group we will live this experience. Along the way we will also find dolphins and fish, not to mention that we will pass near the colony of sea lions that will greet us from the rocks. Once in the area we can see the whales, if we are lucky, on some occasions they get so close to the boat that we can even touch them.

Also, at Pepe’s Dive Center we organize excursions to see the Whale Shark, a species of shark that feeds on plankton and is very friendly. In order to make the sighting we have to move near Cantil in Cabo Pulmo between the months of May and June, which is when the migration takes place. If you wish, you can jump into the water, snorkel and see it even closer.
