From Naviera Mar de Ons S.L Whale Watching we propose an ideal activity to enjoy with your family or friends the natural spectacle that these animals offer us.
The resident whale colony that we are lucky enough to host in the southern waters of Tenerife is made up of Short Fin Pilot Whales, also called Tropical Pilot Whales. The boats do not bother them, in fact, they can get close to look around the stern and bow of the boat.
In these waters there are around 500 specimens that swim in family groups of approximately 15 individuals, led by a dominant male that reaches up to 2,500 kg. in weight and 8 meters in length.
The tour will be carried out at all times accompanied by a specialized guide from Mar de Ons S.L Whale Watching who ensures explanations about the environment and an entertainer will entertain you during the return.
