Ocean Explorer is a company that enjoys organizing somewhat different and very original water activities. Its facilities are located in one of the best areas of Tenerife, in the Marina Los Gigantes, an undeniably beautiful place where you will find one of the most impressive cliffs in all of Tenerife. br />
With Ocean Explorer you can have fun with different activities:
- Whale watching: Tenerife is an area full of the most spectacular marine life. We want you to discover it and we will take you to visit an area where you will enjoy the company of pilot whales in total freedom, 30 minutes by boat from our facilities. Much closer, on the Los Gigantes cliffs, there are groups of dolphins that you can see from our boat. Both modalities last between 1 hour and 1 hour and a half and you can do them with your family without any problem
- Parascending: experience intense emotions with this spectacular activity. You will enjoy the best of the sea and a flight admiring an area as impressive asLos Gigantes. You will fly with a single-seater, two-seater and even three-seater paraglider while you let yourself be dragged by a boat along the Tenerife coast. There is no danger in doing this activity since our instructors are watching you at all times on the boat.
These water activities are the most spectacular in the area and you can do them all year round due to the good weather in Tenerife. You can combine them with other activities such as a banana boat ride or Jet Ski. Contact us to find out all the details and come live a unique experience in Tenerife.
Summary Whale Watching
At Ocean Explorer we are lovers of animals and the sea and that is why we have prepared an incredible activity in which you can get up close to dolphins and whales on the coast of Tenerife.
These animals live in different areas to which we will take you on a fantastic boat ride. We propose two different options:
- Whale watching: just a few miles off the coast of Tenerife is the habitat of pilot whales. We will take you there on a tour that lasts between 20 and 30 minutes to enjoy these animals that you can almost touch with the tips of your fingers. This activity is done in the mornings starting at 11:30 and lasts around 1 hour and a half.
- Dolphin watching: we will find the dolphins in the wildest area of the Los Gigantes cliff where you will see them peek out from our boat. Furthermore, in summer we will take you to enjoy the water of the coves that form around this cliff where you will cool off in the best company. The complete tour lasts 1 hour and is always done in the afternoon from 2:30 p.m.
You can enjoy these special animals in a unique way. We recommend coming on a family excursion with your children so they can see the dolphins and whales up close.

If you want to innovate in adventure sports, we propose a fun day of parascending. With Ocean Explorer you can enjoy the bluest waters on the coast of Los Gigantes.
Parascending is a simple sport in which you will fly over the Costa de Los Gigantes while being towed by a powerful boat. We assure you great fun and very strong emotions in a completely safe way. We have several parachute options with one, two and three seats so you can enjoy in the company of whoever you want.
It is not necessary to have any type of experience for this activity but it is advisable not to be afraid or have problems with vertigo or heights. We will leave you with all the necessary material and we will take care of placing it correctly so that there is no type of setback while this activity lasts.
Although parascending is a sport that will give you strong sensations, you can also enjoy an incredible view from above and even more so in a place as impressive as the Los Gigantes cliff.
