Get out and enjoy the water with the Mylor Sailing School. We offer sailing and powerboating training, clubs and courses (RYA and non RYA) right here in the Mylor Yacht Harbour in Falmouth, Cornwall.

We can offer great family holidays, one on one tuition, practice sessions and accommodate groups, schools and even companies for a unique Corporate or Teambuilding event for dinghy sailing. You can choose from official RYA courses or a non RYA introductory for getting a feeling for this brilliant watersport.

We will supply everything you need to enjoy one of these activities! Our instructors are friendly and qualified and will ensure that you thoroughly enjoy yourself while learning new skills and techniques out on the water.

We can accommodate individuals and groups alike. Our courses offered are part of the official RYA sailing scheme although we do offer non RYA introductory courses to sailing.

If you are looking for outstanding powerboating training, look no further than Mylor Sailing School Powerboating. We offer the official RYA powerboating courses, including Level 1 and Level 2 Powerboating as well as the Safety Boat.

A powerboat is generally a sportsboat which does not have cooking facilities or accommodation onboard. Many people find this training extremely useful, especially as many people are starting to enjoy this watersport.
Our instructors are all experienced and qualified and lessons can take place on your own boat or on one of ours.
Our courses are:

Level 1: A 1 day course that teaches you the basics of boat handling, theory and safety.
Level 2: this is a more in-depth training course and it is also the basis for the International Certificate of Competence.
Safery Boat: This is a 2 day skills course which requires the RYA Level 2 Powerboat certificate.
