Welcome to the Monrosa Canoe Rafting Center!
If you are passionate about river sports, nature lover and with a great desire to have fun... this is the right place! InValsesiafor over 20 years, every year from April to September we do our best to offer fun, relaxation and comfort to the numerous friends who come to visit us every year to try new experiences.
The activities we organize on the river are endless: you can try
- a rafting trip to have fun with your friends, or
- a hydrospeed descent finning in the waters of the Sesia river, or maybe
- a canyoning descent if you want to experience the thrill of diving and descending into the most suggestive tributaries
- a descent in a miniraft if you want to try your hand at actually driving a mini dinghy or, why not,
- a kayak course to learn the rudiments of one of the most fascinating sports in the world.
Nature, safety and fun: these are the key words of our organization. We are inone of the few valleys in northern Italy still uncontaminated, and we do everything we can to take advantage of it.
In recent years an increasing number of people have become fond of our Center and the Sesia, a spectacular river; so that in addition to customers, there is an ever-increasing number of loyal friends who come back to visit us to try out a new activity, propose a party, have a barbecue or even just drink a beer while lying on the lawn.
Our Center is in fact in the middle of a green area, equipped with a bar, football pitch, beach volleyball court, a few deckchairs... everything you need to relax after a descent into the river !
CELEBRATE WITH US
More and more young people decide to celebrate their stag party (and hen party, too!) with us, with ever new ideas and proposals to make the moment as unforgettable as possible.
BUT ALSO..
Not only do we celebrate... but we also work! We have been collaborating with numerous companies in organizing corporate team building for more than ten years now. Rafting, in fact, has the peculiarity of putting the participants in a particularly 'rare' condition of collaboration, because it creates synergies and team spirit in a context - the river - in which people are not used to being.
Pre-established roles therefore fall away, and interesting situations are created, as well as useful for socializing with new and old workmates. In recent years we have then looked for new stimuli to complete thecorporate team building programs: water games, sprint and slalom in a dinghy, orienteering... contact us for more detailed proposals!
THE CELEBRATE GET OFF FOR FREE!
With a minimum of 4 companions, the birthday boy gets off for free:

Our proposals can last from half a day to several days, based on your needs.
Here are the main packages:
- single descent: ½ day
- non-stop day: 2 activities in one day
- multi sport week: 5 activities in 5 days
- full immersion weekend: 4 activities in 2 days

From the age of 14 onwards, everyone can experience the thrill of a descent into a river, obviously the only condition is knowing how to swim!
Our Center provides all the necessary technical material: wetsuit, water jacket, helmet, life jacket... you only have to bring a swimsuit, sneakers and a lot, a lot of DESIRE TO HAVE FUN!

NOTE:
The Monrosa Canoeing and Rafting Center carries out all its activities with the utmost attention to safety on the river. It is a National Canoe School recognized by the Italian Canoe Kayak Federation (F.I.C.K.) and a Navigation Company affiliated with the Italian Rafting Federation (F.I.Raft), at Italian Hydrospeed Association (A.I.Hydro) and the Italian Canyoning Association (A.I.C.).
The Center is directed by Piero Arcostanzo and Paolo Longoni, both lifelong canoeists, with the collaboration of a qualified group of Guides and Instructors who offer the maximum guarantees of safety andprofessionalism.
Summary Rafting
Monrosa Rafting provides its customers with all the equipment needed to practice rafting safely.
Fun and exciting group sport, it consists of descending the river on special inflatable boats capable of carrying crews of 6/7 people plus the guide.
It is a type of activity suitable and fun for everyone, from the wildest to the most fearful: the only necessary requirement is knowing how to swim.
Before the actual descent, the Guide will give a theoretical-practical lesson, first on dry land and then in calm water, so that all participants know how to tackle the descent in complete safety. Our Center already provides all the necessary equipment and technical clothing.
Monrosa is recognized by the Italian Rafting Federation (F.I.Raft) and only qualified guides operate in the Center.
The ideal season for rafting is from April to September: thanks to the technical clothing (wetsuit, water jacket, shoes, life jacket and helmet) safety is guaranteed. strong> correct thermal protection in any weather condition. Indeed, it is often when it rains that you have the most fun! The center is equipped with inflatable boats and cutting-edge equipment capable of easily accommodating very large groups.
The total duration of each route is 4 hours (approximately 2 hours in water), including registration, dressing, theory lesson with dry tests, aquatics lesson, descent and transport by mini-bus.

Summary Kayaking
Kayaking is a sport for everyone, it is neither difficult nor dangerous; it is enough to have a little confidence with the water and learn gradually, then everyone will be able to choose between relaxation, fun, challenge or adventure.
The kayak differs from the simple canoe because, in this case, a single paddle equipped with two blades is used, unlike the canoe which has two paddles with a single blade each. The kayak is more recent than the canoe, but it is becoming very popular in recent times in our country.
The Sesia seems made specifically for practicing this sport: it offers, in addition to enchanting landscapes and clear waters, river routes ideal for both beginners and expert canoeists.
The Monrosa National River Canoe School is recognized by the Italian Canoe Kayak Federation(F.I.C.K.) and offers qualified teaching. The courses are in fact held by F.I.C.K. Canoe Masters. which guarantee maximum assistance and safety on the river.

Summary Canyoning
Canyoning is a thrilling experience but suitable for anyone.
The Monrosa Canyoning organization provides all the technical material with high thermal protection to practice this fun water sport in complete safety.
Also called canyoning, Canyoning consists of descending steeply sloping streams on foot that form gorges and gorges.
Accompanied by a guide, who teaches the basic techniques during the descent, you walk following the course of the river passing through gorges, sliding on a rock toboggan, swimming and diving over water slides and waterfalls, or, in the most challenging cases, rappelling from the rocks. During the descent everyone will have the opportunity to measure the difficulties according to their own character.

Are you looking for a completely new emotion full of adrenaline? And maybe you are also passionate about water sports?? If the answer to these questions is an enthusiastic yes, then all you have to do is contact us and try the exciting experience of hydrospeed.
We are talking about an exciting descent lying on a floating bob. It does not require particular skills: you just need to have a good relationship with water to try swimming in "living water".
Sesia offers all the elements necessary for an exciting experience with the hydro-bob: clear water, suggestive landscapes and foamy but not dangerous rapids.
The equipment is provided by the Center and allows for perfect thermal stability. The center also has a team of highly qualified professionals who will guide you throughout the entire experience.
You can choose between signing up for a daily descent or a course of two or more days.
You descend in groups of a maximum of six people plus the Guide, who explains the basic maneuvers before leaving.
The Monrosa Hydrospeed is recognized by the Italian Hydrospeed Association.
Summary Canoeing
A new and exhilarating way to go down the river! If you have already tried rafting and want to test your "river runner" skills, this is the sport for you.
They are stable and easy to handle 1-seater (kayak) or 2-seater (miniraft) canoes, which you can sail independently in the company of your friends.
A qualified guide will follow you in a kayak, indicating the best route to follow and assisting you in the most challenging passages.
Thanks to their size and particular maneuverability, pneumatic canoes are also suitable for periods with reduced river flow.
