Lamarencalma

At Lamarencalma our boats are yours whenever they want. You can reach them from the Getxo Marina, although it is not the only base from which we can provide you with services in terms of:

- Sea baptisms: a very economical option to have a first contact for 3 hours, always with a skipper, with whom you will collaborate to feel the movement of the boat in first person.

- Rentals for people without qualifications: our skipper will be in charge of the boat while you make the personal use that you have in mind, such as a bachelor party or a short trip with the family or company for that day that you would like it to be different.

- Parties on board: for groups of 7 or 10 participants. We will meet from 10 in the morning, whenever it suits you best, to sail and eat on the boat, or stopping on the coast if you feel more like it.

- Incentives and coaching: a day spent exploring to create common strength among all employees or with specific programs to work on certain aspects of the corporation.

At the Lamarencalma nautical school we have taken into account that, as a student, you may need to start preparing for a qualification from the beginning, or in your case you may need to continue with the training you have already started. Theory and practice are covered in any case so that you can reach the goal you have set for yourself:

- Basic Navigation License: its main advantage is that it is very simple, and if you are going to move without visually separating yourself from the coast, it will help you. With 2 hours of class, without an exam, you will be ready.

- P.N.B.: in this case we are already dealing with a nautical title as such. It is the first of them and you can navigate 24 hours a day, even if the sun has set. You will need a total of 7 classes aimed at passing a test of less than thirty questions.

- Pattern of Recreational Boats, yacht or captain: titles that expand in parallel to the length of the boat you want to manage and the distance from the coastline that you are thinking of maintaining.

- Internships: to pass the most complete qualifications, you will need to spend the stipulated hours on one of our boats, testing yourself in real situations. We will take care of leaving you perfectly on track for the exam.

With Lamarencalma you will be able to know that dolphins and different species of cetaceans also live on the Cantabrian coast. To go in search of them, we organize excursions with the rental of the entire boat using our base in the Getxo Marina.

These expeditions are accompanied by a professional skipper who knows the routes these marine mammals use in their movements. This is how the day will be:

- We will meet before 8 am to board and start our tour as soon as possible. The more time we spend at sea, the more chances there will be to multiply contact with dolphins.

- We will head towards the end of the continental shelf which is located in the northern part located between Capes Billano and Matxitxako. As we approach our destination, animals will appear on the horizon that often navigate parallel to our path. We will ensure that we do not have any negative impact on the environment, limiting ourselves to being privileged spectators of the show.

- We will finish around 7 p.m. depending on the sea conditions and how the day went.
