La guilde de l'eau vive

The White Water Guild invites you to join its team for a crazy descent of 17 km in rafting!

Ideally located, the base of the Guilde de l’Eau Vive is located in Saint Clément sur Durance in the Hautes-Alpes.

Rafting welcomes all those who wish to embark on the descent of the Durance from 5 years old!
No experience required, whitewater beginners are welcome! As with all water activities offered by the Whitewater Guild, the only physical condition is to know how to swim and immerse yourself in order to practice in complete safety.

Each river is classified from level 1 to level 6, the Durance is ranked at level 2 with some level 3 crossings. The 17 km route along the Durance does not present any obstacles. The route is characterized by technical progressivity allowing technical explanations to be put into practice as well as safety instructions explained in advance by your river guide.

You are an integral part of the descent, mobilized by the guide throughout the course in order to maneuver the boat.

The base of the Guilde de l'Eau Vive is ideally located in the Hautes-Alpes very close to the Durance route, the main embarkation point for all of the activities.

Can be used solo or in duo, inflatable canoes and kayaks have the particularity of easy maneuverability! Unsinkable, stable and light, their practicality allows less technical navigation than a rigid boat.

Whether you are alone or in pairs, your guide will never be far away to give you advice and supervise you throughout the activity.

In addition to the obligation to know how to swim and submerge, which is the physical condition required for all the nautical activities offered by the Guilde de l'Eau Vive, to practice this activity of inflatable canoes and kayaks it is also required to have previously used adouble paddle as well as to have navigated in a straight line in calm water.

The activity is open to children from 12 years old for an independent boat and from 8 years old with an accompanying adult and a guide in a three-person boat.

Very close to the Durance, in the Hautes-Alpes, The Guilde de l'Eau Vive invites you to practice Mega Stand-Up Paddle!!!!

The Mega Stand-Up Paddle activity takes place on a long and wide board ready to accommodate up to 8 people! On the Paddle, you and your boat will be accompanied by one of the team's guides to guide and advise you along the crossing.

All guides are state qualified and offer you an entertaining practice, in good humor and in complete safety >.

If you are ready to get started and face the river standing and balancing on your Paddle, then the team invites you for a sensational descent of the Durance.

To board the paddle board you need to know how to swim, dive, be reckless and be minimum 12 years old.

We will ask you to bring swimsuits or underwear to wear under the neoprene suit provided before any activity. It is also advisable to bring shoes that protect your toes but can get wet.
