Black Rock Charters, Fishing Trips and Tours of The Needles  is a small company based in Yarmouth, Isle Of Wight.  Run by husband and wife team, with their trusty dog D'artagnan!  Do pop in to our booking office on The Quay in Yarmouth for a chat anytime.

We run a great boat called The Alaminta, a 31ft mitchel with a great deck perfect for fishermen, photographers, keen bird watchers, sighteseers and safe for children and dogs!

We offer fantastic tours of the most beautiful part of the Isle of Wight Coastline. Leaving  Yarmouth's historical harbour throughout th e Spring and Summer.  Passing Colwell Bay, Totland Bay and Totland Pier, Hurst Castle and Alum Bay before reaching the famous Needles Lightouse where you will enjoy endless views over the sea. You can take the opportunity to privately hire our boat for your group and have a family trip or just enjoy a day out with friends or you can book a place on one of our many scheduled 90 minute tours.

With Black Rock Charters, Fishing Trips you can choose from one of our many different fishing  trips, depending on the time you have or the fish you desire catching.  We offer 2 hour trips to catch mackerel, 1/2 day trips with the aim of catching Bass, Bream, Tope and whatever is around and then finally we offer various day fishing trips either for Cod in the autumn and winter or Wreck fishing. 

Included when you book is rod hire and bait. We do discounts for children under 9 yrs of age and for those fishermen who have their own gear.  We are very, very happy to provide full tution for novices if wanted and to show you how to gut your catch.  We do allow you to keep some your catch as long as you are going to eat it!

We  have recently taken on our Shop and Booking Office in Yarmouth where you will find all the equipment you need to have a wonderful day either fishing for supper, spending time with your kids crabbing off the famous Yarmouth Pier or fishing off the back of your boat. There are a lot of different fish that you can catch around Yarmouth and in The Solent.
