At Amare we take you to know the world of fishing from all perspectives. In our company you can both learn to fish and witness the different techniques and tasks that professional fishermen carry out daily in our waters.

The first offer we have for you is aimed at those people who have never fished or have done so on very rare occasions. This is an introductory fishing trip in which we will take you to the best fishing places, where success is almost guaranteed, in addition to containing a spectacular landscape that will delight our view.

We will provide you with all the material and teach you the best techniques and tricks so that, little by little, you will improve and achieve better catches. This is an ideal activity for the whole family since both children and adults can fish with complete freedom.

The second option we give you is that you come with us bass fishing. This activity requires a certain amount of experience because, as everyone knows, the sea bass is a very elusive fish. From Amare we suggest going to the Ría de Arousa since, in this place, we find an ideal area for this type of fishing throughout the year. Of course, we will take into account the minimum measures and fishing quotas in order to guarantee the correct reproduction of this species.

Finally, the third experience that we propose is that you come to discover with Amare the arts of fishing. On this route we will witness how the shellfish harvesters search for clams on the beach and the shellfish harvesters do so from the sea. We will learn about the work of breeding and extracting mussels, we will see the razor clam and seaweed collectors at work and we will even have the opportunity to see the Trueleiros, the shrimp collectors, in action.

Depending on the time of year we will be able to see the work of some or others as well as the tasks of many other sea workers. We will learn to admire this art and, above all, to be grateful to all these workers for allowing us, in such a hard way, to be able to enjoy these fish and seafood on our table.

Amare takes you to know Galicia through its waters and islands. We will always depart from the port of O Xufre, located on the island of Arousa, and we will visit the most beautiful places in our surroundings.

Among our various excursions we have one that will take us to the island of Cortegada. There we will witness its beautiful laurel forests and the characteristic flora that grows there. In addition, it is one of the places with the highest concentration of majillón so we can see how it is collected as well as we will see the shellfish harvesters collecting clams on the seashore. We will be able to get off the boat and explore the coast on foot to take a closer look at its vegetation and the most curious aspects of the island.

Another option is that you come with us to the island of Ons, a remote place that currently has barely 80 inhabitants. In it we will contemplate the most spectacular beaches and cliffs in all of Galicia and we will see the characteristic fauna and flora of this place.

Likewise, we go out to travel the Xacobea route by sea on a 25-kilometer itinerary that will take us from the Ría de Arousa to the port of Pontecesures, where our adventure will end. During the journey we will pass through various islets full of beauty such as Malveirasor the island of Briñas. We will also pass through Cortegada being able to enjoy the views of the Atlantic Islands National Park, a place populated with exquisite vegetation that you will love.
