Company Overview
Welcome to the Adur Sailing Club, an official RYA Training Centre run on the River Adur at Shoreham. We are a sailing club geared towards getting youth between 10 and 18 years old out on the water. Our river offers calm gentle waters that are perfect for learning to sail or powerboat and for enjoying these fabulous watersports with others.
We offer a wide selection of RYA courses for sailing from different RYA schemes and 2 powerboating courses. The following are courses that we have on offer from different schemes:

Summary Sailing
Welcome to the Adur Sailing Club Sailing, a brilliant youth sailing club and RYA Training Centre especially run for those from the ages of 10-18. We are located and run our sailing on the River Adur at Shoreham, a great river with gentle waters for learning and practicing sailing skills. We endeavor to provide sailing tuition to those looking to improve and to become confident sailors so as to be able to further enjoy this fabulous sport in the future.
Our instructors are qualified and experienced and we provide all of the necessary gear as well as a fabulous float of dinghies!

Summary Powerboating
Welcome to Adur Sailing Club Powerboating. We are a fantastic sailing club and RYA training centre oriented towards training youth from the ages of 10 to 18 for sailing and powerboating. Located on the River Adur at Shoreham, we have great waters for learn to safety drive and control and RIB.
Powerboating is another fun way to the water (other than sailing) and we offer excellent efficient training which will prepare you as a confident and competent powerboater.
We offer the following courses for powerboating at our club:
RYA Introduction to Powerboating: This is a brilliant introduction into the world of powerbating, ideal for those with no previous experience.
RYA National Powerboat Certificate: An excellent course for achieving powerboat certification as well as for those who may be looking to drive a powerboat in foreign waters.
