10 things to do in Andorra

A lot of people thinks about Andorra and automatically relates it to the Winter and the ski stations, but you need to know that in addition to being a paradise for the snow sports fans, it also has a lot of options of adventure activities to enjoy all year round. Would you like to come with us and discover them?

1. Travel through Juliá de Lória by a buggy.



Cross all the mountain formations that characterize Andorra, and do it an off-road buggy route that will delight the most adventurous. Take advantage of these vehicles without two-seater, and enjoy the activity with your favorite person.

2. Cross the Sorteny Valley with a snow rackets route.



These gadgets allow you to walk easily through the snow preventing you from sinking in the attempt. An expert mountain guide and full knowledge of the area will take you to visit the best areas of this valley located in Ordino. Children from 10 years old will be ready to enjoy this outing.

3. Learn to ski with the best instructors in Grau Roig.



If you are in Grandvalira it is almost mandatory that you fit the skis. If it is your first time or if you want to perfect your technique you will have a course that suits you. If you want to make the most of your stay in the snow, you can opt for private lessons and learn individually.

4. Release adrenaline when bungee jumping from Molleres de Canillo.



Go to the void from 25 meters high and experience one of the most extreme emotions you can imagine with that pendulum jump. The beautiful natural environment sure helps you decide.

5. Live the magical experience of mushing by touring the Massana.



One of the most special snow activities that you can experience, and is a mushing route. We recommend you pass through the Massana with a sled dragged by Nordic dogs. The musher will be guiding these beautiful animals that will make feel like the protagonist of a Christmas movie. There also night routes if you want to add a plus of romance to the activity.

6. Enjoy a quad trip to the Port de Cabús.



You will depart from the locality of Pal, to reach the 2.306 meters in height peak situated in Port de Cabús. You will enjoy the beautiful sights that the woodlands and roads the Montane offer. Nature and speed will go hand by hand.

7. Improve your snowboard jumps in Canillo.



If you already dominate snowboarding, you need to keep improving and jump and try the FreeStyle. You will learn new tricks, stunts in the air and fly on the pipe. There are 3 different levels, and it all depends on how much you know, so rest easy because the instructor will get the best of you.

8. Watch Andorra from the heights with a helicopter trip.



Departing from Encamp, you can obtain a panoramic vies of Andorra. The aircraft has the capacity of up to 4 people, plus the pilot, so it will be perfect to share the experience with friends or family members.

9. Feel the excitement when driving a snowmobile from Ordino to Arcalís.



They will be waiting for you in Pont del Castellar, so you just get there, board a snowmobile and start the route from Ornido to Arcalís. It is not necessary to have any type of driving license or degree and you can take as a copilot whoever you want, even kids (starting at 6 to 7 years old).

10. Overfly the mountain of Grandvalira with a paraglide.



Could you imagine yourself flying freely with a paraglide that is only moved by the wind currents and thermal pressures? Well, in Grandvalira, there is no need to just imagine it. Because here, you can live it during the Winter and find, during your flight, the mountains dressed in white.
