Zoológico Guadalajara

TheGuadalajara Zoo has more than 50 hectares and hundreds of animals from all continents, it is one of the main tourist attractions when visiting this city. We have a giant variety of fauna, where you can see immense mammals up close: giraffes, elephants, rhinos, etc. From the largest animals to the smallest ones are in the Guadalajara Zoo.

We have divided our zoo into different areas according to the kind of animals you want to see:

• Aquarium: We are proud to be the first zoo in Mexico to have a 360 degree aquarium, where you will be surrounded from head to toe by thousands of marine species.
• Herpetarium: Crocodiles, snakes and turtles are some of what you can see up close here
• Amazonia: We dedicate this space to one of the most beautiful birds in the world, the Macaws.
• Monkeyland: With an area of 2 hectares, this area is home to a wide variety of primates.
• Ranch: Become a veterinarian for a day in our clinic, where you can have direct contact with different species.
• Jungle: chimpanzees, jaguars, anteaters and tigers are some of the species we have in this area
• Australian Village: We dedicate this area to this famous continent, known for being the motherland of several famous species such as the kangaroo.
• Michilia: Here you can enjoy seeing Mexican gray bears and wolves up close.
• Antarctica: Different species of penguins are waiting for you here!

We also have an auditorium for more than 3,000 thousand people, where you can enjoy exhibitions of birds and different reptiles.
As if this were not enough, come and be part of research on animals in our "CIA" section, this is where we investigate and study for their conservation.

If what you want is to see all kinds of animals from a different perspective, we created the Sky Zoo and the Safari. In the first you can see all these animals from a panoramic view. and on our safari you will ride a bus that will awaken all your senses, we will see the most typical things about Africa from its animals to its dances and clothing.
