BSN Aventure is the outdoor leisure brand of Boyer Sport Nature, the company managed by Victor Boyer and based in Combreux in the Loiret. We run the Étang de la Vallée leisure center there, a 70-hectare body of water located in the heart of the Orléans forest, which is the largest national forest in mainland France. Originally created to supply the Orléans canal, the pond is today dedicated to nature activities.

The treetop adventure park has six courses of progressive difficulty between 1 and 9 m in height, allocated according to the size of participants from 3 years old, and two giant 200 m zip lines pass above the pond. On the water, we rent sit-on-top canoes and individual paddles for one or two hours, as well as 3 to 4-seater big paddles and 5-seater pedal boats equipped with a slide. The base also offers ax throwing from 12 years old and Gel Blaster from 6 years old, the investigation game and treasure hunts or even the rental of mountain bikes and electric VTCs to go on the surrounding routes.

On site you will find the Vallée Snack Club and a fine sand beach equipped with picnic tables, pétanque and beach volleyball courts and a playground. We also welcome groups for the day or half-day, from schools to business seminars, birthdays and bachelorette parties. Groups of 10 to 100 people also have a reception room with 40 seats. In summer, the base organizes concert and karaoke evenings and a nighttime treetop adventure. The park also turns into Halloween colors in the fall.

The opening follows a schedule in periods where activities operate throughout the day or only in the afternoon, with a few extended evenings and dates reserved for groups of at least 8 people. We advise you to contact us to confirm opening on the day of your arrival. Combreux is 15 minutes from Châteauneuf-sur-Loire and 35 minutes from Orléans or Montargis, and Paris is 1 hour 45 minutes away. BSN Aventure also manages a second leisure center in Vieilles-Maisons-sur-Joudry, Étang des Bois.

In Combreux, in the Loiret, we rent canoes with two to three places on the Étang de la Vallée for one or two hours. These sit-on-top canoes are unsinkable and stable. Easy to navigate, they are designed for outings with family or friends on the 70 hectares of the pond, in the Orléans forest.

Each canoe accommodates one or two people, and a third when it is a child. The youngest board from 3 years old, always accompanied by an adult. Two parents can leave with their child and a couple can share the same boat. A family of four or five people, however, will have to reserve two canoes, unless you choose our five-seater pedal boat equipped with a slide or one of our three to four-seater Big paddles. To navigate independently, we also offer a single-seater canoe.

On the day of your arrival, show up at reception five minutes before your rental time so that the outing starts as planned. Before coming, check with our team about the conditions of participation, especially if you are boarding with young children. The canoe then remains at your disposal from the pontoon for the entire duration chosen.

Good to know: for a family outing, take a bottle of water for each person as well as sunscreen and a head covering for the children. As for outfits, the swimsuit is worn with a t-shirt to protect yourself from the sun, and if the weather turns cloudy, keep something to cover you against the rain or the cold on hand.

Once back on land, you can enjoy the sandy beach of the pond and its picnic tables for a break, or settle in at the Vallée Snack Club. Children from 3 years old can continue the day in the trees on the Pitchoun course of the treetop adventure park, located 1 m above the ground. The base is 15 minutes from Châteauneuf-sur-Loire and 25 minutes from Chécy.

If you are new to paddling, we offer a single seat sit-on-top kayak at the Combreux Valley Pond. This is the most common model for beginners to paddle sports. Its English name describes the way you sit there: you sit on top of the hull and not in a closed cabin. The boat is unsinkable, stable and steers without difficulty.

Alone on board, you will lead the kayak at your own pace and you will decide alone on each paddle stroke and the direction to take. It's a good way to understand how a boat reacts before sailing for a day with others. Between friends, everyone can also take their own in order to advance side by side on the 70 hectares of this pond which serves as a reservoir for the Orléans Canal, surrounded by the national forest. Children are accepted from 3 years old, but they only sail accompanied by an adult. For them and for couples who wish to share a single boat, we recommend the two to three-seater canoe. If you prefer to stand rather than sit, the individual paddle board is our other one-person boat. The rental is reserved for one hour or two hours.

On the day of your outing, report to the base reception five minutes before the start of your rental. The conditions of participation can be checked with our team before your arrival. After sailing, you will also find on the same base the treetop adventure park and its two 200 m zip lines above the pond, ax throwing for ages 12 and up or even the Vallée Snack Club for a break. Combreux is located 35 minutes from Orléans.

Good to know: the outfit depends on the weather of the day. In good weather, bring a swimsuit with a sun protection t-shirt, sunscreen and a head covering. In case of rain or cool weather, take a raincoat and warm clothes, not forgetting a bottle of water per person.

Paddle boarding is done standing up, paddle in hand. We rent it on an individual board, for one hour or two hours, on the Étang de la Vallée in Combreux. You will sail on a 70 hectare body of water located in the middle of the Orléans forest, the largest national forest in mainland France. Our boards are inflatable and stable, which makes it easier to balance during the first attempts. A waterproof container can be attached to the front of the board to keep some items dry during the outing.

Before getting on the water, our team will give you instructions and tell you what safety equipment to wear. You will keep them for the entire duration of the rental, which follows the base's opening schedule for the full day or only in the afternoon depending on the period.

The individual paddle is aimed at those who want to navigate alone and standing up. If you prefer to remain seated, the single-person sit-on-top kayak offers the same autonomy. With young children, the two to three-seater canoe is more suitable because it accommodates the youngest from 3 years old when accompanied by an adult. To ride with several people on the same board, we also rent three to four-seater Big paddles. As for families who do not want to get wet, they will rather choose our five-seater pedal boat with slide, which can be piloted without compulsory contact with the water.

Good to know: standing on a board, you remain exposed to the sun throughout the rental. A headgear, a t-shirt and sunscreen will therefore be useful in addition to a swimsuit and a bottle of water per person. In cool or rainy weather, add warm clothes and a raincoat.

On the same leisure center, you will find the treetop adventure park, ax throwing and Gel Blaster from 6 years old. The sandy beach of the pond also has petanque and beach volleyball courts as well as a children's play area. Combreux is 30 minutes from Pithiviers.

Our treetop adventure park in Combreux, at Étang de la Vallée, has six color courses set up in the Orléans forest. They range from purple at 1 m from the ground to red which climbs between 7 and 9 m, and two giant zip lines 200 m long cross the pond. Apart from the Pitchoun course open from 3 years old, access depends on the size of each participant and your ticket is established according to your height.

Children under 1 m 10 stay on the purple and its ten workshops at 1 m height, designed for a first discovery. From 1 m 10 yellow is added, at 3 m with 13 workshops. At 1.25 m, children can access the green, our family course which has 12 workshops and its own zip lines. From 1.35 m, you will discover blue and orange as well as large zip lines. The red and its 16 workshops open from 1.45 m for participants looking for the highest course in the park.

Adults accompanying children under 1.35 m can follow them on yellow or green with an accompanying ticket. For those who just want to cross the pond, a tour of large zip lines without a course is offered from 1.35 m.

From purple to green, the first three courses are equipped with the CLIC IT RIDER, a pulley lifeline which remains continuous from the first to the last workshop and which the accompanying adults also use. Blue, orange and red work with CLIC IT. Our team explains how to use this equipment before each departure and each participant has their equipment checked before climbing.

In summer, the park opens certain evenings for a nighttime treetop adventure with headlamps, and it turns into Halloween colors in the fall. Between two courses, the Vallée Snack Club and the sandy beach allow you to take a breather. Our canoes, paddles and pedal boats will take you from the water to discover the pond that you will have flown over on a zip line. Combreux is 20 minutes from Beaune-la-Rolande.

Axe throwing involves throwing an ax to plant it into a target. We offer it on a stand set up at our Étang de la Vallée leisure center in Combreux, in the Orléans forest. Sessions last one hour and are open to ages 12 and up. They are supervised by our instructors, who welcome up to 12 people on the stand.

At the start of the session, the instructors teach you the basic movements and have you try several types of axes as well as other throwing equipment. Everyone will be able to compare and choose the one that suits them best. Once the first throws have been acquired, the session continues in the form of games and supervised tournaments where participants compete against each other. With a minimum age of 12, the activity can be practiced as a couple, with friends or as a family with teenagers.

The stand can also be privatized for a group of 12 people. This formula is suitable for birthdays, hen or stag parties and team building days with colleagues. For these hen parties, we also offer a formula built around a one-hour session, with an aperitif and drinks option. For groups of 10 to 100 people, our facilitators supervise several activities at the base for the day or half-day, with the possibility of catering, and our reception room accommodates 40 people seated or 60 for cocktails.

Please note: on certain days of the opening calendar, the base only welcomes groups of at least 8 people and the snack bar remains closed. Report to reception five minutes before the start of your session. On the same basis, you can continue with the Gel Blaster from 6 years old, the treetop adventure park or a canoe rental. Combreux is 35 minutes from Montargis and 1 hour 45 minutes from Paris.
