Mysteries Hunt

Mysteries Hunt is a collective of creators of historical investigation games, created in 2015 on the initiative of Cyril and based in Paris. We bring together history and gaming enthusiasts to discover the secrets of the heritage of Paris, Versailles and Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Our investigations take the form of treasure hunts, outdoor escape games and treasure hunts.

The first game, The Last Secret of Arsène Lupin, was released in 2015 on Île Saint-Louis. Cyril followed up the following year with 2 hours to save the King in Versailles, the city he calls his stronghold. In 2017, crowdfunding supported by hundreds of people gave birth to L'Inconnue de la Seine, a virtual reality game. Chloé joined the team in 2018 and her vision of escape games resulted in Le Secret de Montmartre the following year.

Baptiste launched the Revolution Tour with Cyril in 2020, a guided walk on the secret places of the Revolution in Versailles. He transposed it in 2023 into the 2-hour treasure hunt in 1789, where 57 million pounds must be released to save France from bankruptcy. Johanna imagined with Chloé Le Complot de l'Œillet in 2021, a race against time to save Marie-Antoinette, before signing Le Trésor de France on the Champs-Élysées in 2022. In player memory, this is the most difficult of our games. Arthur arrived in 2021 and became the host of the investigations in Versailles before creating with Cyril L'Artefact de la Montespan in 2025, a nomadic indoor escape game.

Our treasure hunts take place outdoors and last 2 hours. They can be played by two people and are accessible to children aged 10 and over. An investigator-trainer welcomes each team and gives them all the information necessary to solve the investigation, then the players leave independently with a contact present in the game area. All our games are available in English. That of Saint-Germain-en-Laye is also in Spanish.

We also welcome companies, institutions and schools for team-building and group outings. According to our own count, 250 institutions, 540 companies and 140 schools have already trusted us.
