Tana del Grillo Chalet

Between the Bernina Alps and the Val Bregaglia Mountains stands the Chalet Tana del Grillo, a wonderful hotel immersed in the mountain landscape and a privileged place for all winter sports lovers.

The province of Sondrio, where our chalet is located, is an area surrounded by the Bosco Natural Reserve dei Bordighi, the Orobie Park Valtellinesi and the Marmot Park of Chiareggio: as one could already imagine, this is an area that seems to have never known the action of man. Here rare plant species grow and the fauna lives undisturbed.

From our hut you can participate in excursions that will give you the opportunity to observe this spectacle of nature with your own eyes!
This structure is located in a strategic position that allows cross-country skiing and trekking lovers to easily reach the various alpine huts in the area.

The landscape surrounding the chalet is able to surprise in all seasons: in winter you can be surprised by the softness of the snow and the white that will paint the scenery, making everything more magical! The icing on the cake is to add to your stay a snowmobile trip that will take you around the valley and admire the surrounding glaciers in a completely original way, and end the day with a dinner in a mountain hut with typical Valtellina dishes.

If you are a color lover, autumn is the perfect season to visit this region of Italy. the phenomenon of foliage is capable of transforming the landscape into a fairytale setting, and you can also walk in the woods in search of mushrooms!
