What type of courses can be taken?

You can choose to do a simple discovery dive or a first dive, or to pass to a higher level of diving to be completely autonomous.

For children, the minimum age for a baptism is 8 years old. If your child wants to get a diving qualification, the required age is 14 years old for level 1 which will allow him/her to dive up to 20 meters, where you will find the most colorful landscapes of the island's seabed!

For level 2, which teaches you to dive up to 40 meters deep, you must be at least 16 years old.

Generally, this takes place during a several-day course during which you do 3 to 4 hours of diving per day at different sites on the island. At the end of the course, you will have acquired all the skills and will be able to get into the seabed of Calvi and Ajaccio.

The biodiversity of the island's seabed is known to be highly developed and very varied. In fact, among the fauna and flora, you will be able to observe colourful underwater panoramas, with magical appearance. You will be able to observe algae meadows (Posidonia), red corals, coralligenous, as well as large rocky walls on which the flora develops in mass.

The fauna is very diverse. In the shallow seabed you can see anemones of different colours, starfish, rays, groupers, moray eels and barracudas. Some species may be present in shallow waters along the coast, for example, at depths of more than 50 meters. In the deepest depths, about 20 meters deep and more, dentex, pink antias, sublime octopus and lobsters are present in abundance and offer an incomparable natural spectacle.
