The Royal Findhorn Yacht Club

The Royal Findhorn Yacht Club is situated on the coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland. We aim to introduce everyone to the fantastic sport of sailing. We provide the perfect setting to develop your skills.

We offer informal coaching sessions as well as RYA training. We also have a race programme that enables you to test your expertise against other sailors, and perhaps win a trophy! Our informal sessions include:

• racing rules
• race course tactics
• start line and first beat tactics
• sail tuning
• roll tacking and gibing

We provide the following RYA courses:

• Sail Adult (2 day)
• Sail Junior (2 day)
• Sail Junior Training Camp (4 day)
• Try-a-sail Adult
• Try-a-sail Junior
• Spinnaker
• One-to-one Coaching
• First Aid
