A Vela Madrid

A Vela Madrid is a nautical school that organizes sailing courses, as well as regattas and nautical events.

We offer theoretical courses and practical sailing courses, below we detail them:

• Practical introductory sailing course: divided into 2 shifts, morning and afternoon. In the morning we will develop the main theoretical knowledge that is necessary for navigation in terms of technique and material. In the afternoon, preparation and management of the boat, sailing at defined points.
• Advanced practical sailing course: in the morning, we will do basic maneuvers until we fully control the boat, in the afternoon we will return with the maneuvers and with safety concepts and overturning the boat.

• Practical sailing improvement course: in the morning we will reinforce the courses and heeling, and we will provide basic racing knowledge. In the afternoon, we will focus on maneuvers, safety and overturning the boat.

• Practical cruise sailing course: duration of 1 weekend that you will spend at sea discovering the pleasures of sailing on a cruising sail.

• Theoretical sailing video course: to learn basic concepts through a theoretical course divided into 4 blocks (History, technology, practical navigation and safety).

• Skipper theoretical course for basic navigation.

• Theoretical Skipper course for pleasure boats.
