Abbans-Dessus is a French commune located in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It is located approximately 20 km from Besançon, on a rocky spurwhich overlooks the Chaux forest and the Doubs valley. This commune is located at 406 m above sea leveland is crossed by the Rhône-Rhine Canal as well as the Abbans-Dessus stream.
