Akumal Monkey Sanctuary we are a space located in the heart of the jungle in Akumal, we are in charge of protecting wildlife that for different reasons have been affected. We have tours and adventure sports that will allow you to have fun and at the same time learn about caring for nature and the different species that we have in the care of expert staff.

Each of our activities has an educational background since the guides in charge, in addition to telling you an interesting story, will motivate you to protect the different ecosystems. At the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary you will have the opportunity to meet different species of monkeys and other protected species in the Mexican Caribbean.

In this space you can choose activities such as:

• Guided tour of the sanctuary: lasting 2 hours, you will be able to walk through the premises meeting more than 4 dozen rescued animals, including primates, birds and even reptiles.

• Tour through the sanctuary and cenote: With daily departures and 3 different schedules, in addition to getting to know the sanctuary, we will take you swimming in an underground cenote where we will find crystal clear waters and a surrounding area full of mysterious rocks.

• ATV tour through the sanctuary: With this service we will give a more fun touch to your visit to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, since we will drive all-terrain ATVs through the jungle. This experience will take us approximately 4 hours and is ideal if what you are looking for is a little adrenaline.
