Welcome to Sopelana Parapente, your paragliding flight school in Vizcaya. We teach you how to paraglide or offer you the possibility of flying with a professional instructor. We have experience of more than 4,000 two-seater commercial flights carried out.
Our instructors have official Sports Technician titles. The Sopelana Paragliding courses use a teaching system that is the same as that used in aviation, including both tandem paragliding flights with your instructor and single-seat paragliding flights.
During the course, theoretical classes will be taught to increase knowledge about meteorology, aircraft, use of navigation instruments, etc.
If you want to experience the sensations of paragliding, you can do so by flying as a passenger in a paraglider for two people, piloted by one of our instructors,without having experience, you just need to have the desire.
At Sopelana Parapente we carry out our flights mainly in 2 different flight areas:
- Sopelana: Coastal flight over the beautiful wild beach of Sopelana. The perfect flight for beginners due to its smooth conditions and without any type of turbulence.
- Orduña: Mythical flight where strong emotions are guaranteed, good thermals, vultures flying next to you and a 600-meter vertical wall that you will hardly forget.
You will be able to paraglide regardless of age or physical condition, no previous experience is necessary, our instructors will help make your dreams come true.

It was a gift for my mother, who had wanted to experience what it was like to "fly" for years. We finally found, contacted and booked, all very easy. The treatment was very pleasant and the instructor experienced. My mother was delighted and we were left with the desire. The only factor to keep in mind was the wind, so unpredictable that it could only fly 15 minutes from the 20 minutes agreed.
