Paintball Kent 7 prices and offers 2026

If you’re the kind of person who likes to divide people up into different categories, you might think that an artist could never be a soldier, and there's no place for painting in the field of combat. Think again! Paintball is the combat sport where you can create a work of art - on the bodies of your opponents! And the creativity isn’t just in the painting, it’s also a key part of coming up with a strategy that will exploit your surroundings and leave the enemy in disbelief. So come on and express yourself, in a part of the country that has as much military heritage as artistic merit - Kent.

There are numerous paintball venues around the county in southeastern England. Some of them have the advantage of being well within the reach of London, others boast fantastic installations and built environments, and there are also those with dedicated paintball marshalls with a policy of giving everyone a great time. And here’s a secret - most of them fall into all of those three categories! So strap on your boots, prepare your canvas, and get ready for a real game.

Where are the best paintball sites in Kent?

• Canterbury: It’s no surprise that the most historic settlement in Kent is also home to the longest established paintball site. With that longevity comes tried and tested games, experienced staff and lots of happy customers. This site has 6 separate game zones, including a village, a bridge crossing, and a check point in the woods where a routine inspection might turn into something far more incendiary!

• Royal Tunbridge Wells: The site outside Tunbridge Wells is a perfect mix of deep dark woodland and open landscape, with 6 game zones in total, there’s something to suit every player. Are you a stealthy sniper or do you prefer a full frontal charge? Do you prefer to bide your time and hone your aim, or are you more comfortable trusting your instincts in a CQB - Close Quarter Battle - situation. If you don’t know the answers to those questions, book a game here and find out.

• Orpington: The limit of London is often taken to be the M25 motorway, and this venue, though still in Kent, is within that limit - making it a perfect option for anyone travelling from the capital. A local countryside pub called the Bo Peep is a useful landmark for finding the woodland site, but the fairy tale turns into an action film once you’re there. You might take part in the historic D-day landings, fight for control in a Vietcong village, or fight for your life in a haunted graveyard!

• Longfield: Not far away is the Longfield site, conveniently located between Gravesend and Rochester. But it’s not just the great location that makes this a popular venue, it also offers a top tier paintballing service. When it comes to installations and battlefields, there’s a fort to defend, a riot scenario and a field of hay bales which has a reputation for absolute carnage. You know what they say, the simplest things can be the best!

• Sittingbourne: The last remaining outpost during a worldwide virus outbreak, a scrapyard base that holds a precious flag and the trenches of Europe in the First World War, all of these locations and more can be found on the same site - the paintball venue outside Sittingbourne. Excellent installations are combined with innovative game modes here, creating a dynamic experience that will leave you satisfied - but not enough that you won’t want to come back for more!

• Faversham: There’s a lot to recommend the site in the Faversham area, among which are the sand dunes battlefield and the speedball arena. Both of them alone would make a visit here worthwhile, but you can get a go on both of them and more with any visit!

Options for organising a game

- The determining factors for arranging a paintball session are your age and your group size. If you’re an adult, coming as an individual or with a couple of others, you’ll most likely get onto an open session and play alongside other visitors. Centres in Kent put these on in the mornings and afternoons, so you can enjoy around 3 hours - or go all out and stay for the whole day! One session will include various games, with breaks in between to catch your breath, and catch up with your comrades.

- For a children’s event, a different set of equipment is used. Low velocity paintball markers and specially designed safety equipment ensures that the little ones can enjoy the action without risking getting hurt. Many venues in Kent have this equipment, and the sessions usually last around 2 hours.

- If you’re coming with a large group of people, you can start tailoring the experience to your needs. The times can be flexible, you can get your own run of the game zones, and you might get some extras thrown in as well. So if you’ve been tasked with organising a birthday party or a stag do, a hen do or a corporate event, keep this sport in mind.

Who can enjoy this experience?

As we’ve just mentioned, there’s kids’ paintball on offer in Kent. It’s often known as Splatmaster, but can have different names like mini paintball, and it’s designed for children between the ages of 8 and 11 years old. When they turn 12, your son or daughter can get their hands on the full size markers and start shooting faster and farther than before. But don’t worry, they won’t be on the same battlefields as groups of adults, because juniors, usually those under 16 years old, are kept separate.

What do you need to bring the day of the activity?

At the base of any sport is the spirit of competition, and that couldn’t be more true of anything except combat sports. You’re going to be pitched against opponents who want the win just as much as you do, but, in the end, you’ll learn winning is just part of the fun. In practical terms, if you turn up ready to spend a couple of hours outdoors, with footwear that’s suitable for uneven terrain, you’ll be fine. This is because the paint marshalls will give you all of the kit and safety equipment that you need to enjoy the games.
