Escuela de Música Reina Sofía

At the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music we have been training new additions in the field of classical music for a quarter of a century. We are located next to the Royal Palace, next to the Cathedral of La Almudena, a space from which our young people prepare for the hundreds of concerts that we program annually in the most prestigious auditoriums throughout the peninsula.

In the month of July, our services are joined by the organization of the Summer Camp aimed at participants of a minimum of 12 years old and a maximum of 17. It arises in cooperation with the San Pablo CEU Foundation. With the aim of providing more facilities to students, it is offered with accommodation or as a day camp, maintaining breakfast and lunch for those enrolled who choose this option. It is composed of:

- Musical and cultural programming: in total we will exceed 40 hours of specific training with instrumental and choir practice. We will also visit the key museums of the capital and workshops related to the instruments.

- Language learning: English classes will be taught, which in the case of foreign students attending will be in Spanish so that they improve their knowledge of the Spanish language.< /p>

- Sports, excursions and recreational activities: we will participate in swimming sessions and, in addition to getting to know the emblematic buildings that surround the school, we will travel to Santander.
