Porta do Mezio is one of the doors to the impressive Peneda - Gerês National Park, a territory where the fauna and flora is spectacular. Walking through its intricacies, walking through each of its paths is a plan that everyone would like, but if, to this incredible experience, you add the companyof a horse, it will be even more memorable.

We want to give you the opportunity to discover the wonder of this natural area accompanied by one of our horses. We have many years of experience working with animals, and in particular, our treatment of horses is unimaginable. So you just need to visit our center and let yourself go touring each of the magical places found in deep Portugal.

We create activities for the little ones to enjoy and have their first contact with horses. Safety is more than guaranteed by our instructors. In addition, horses are trained to deal with humans.

An activity in the middle of nature and among trees... our tree climbing circuits are the key to enjoying one of the most exciting activities, challenging heightsovercoming different tests.

We have two tree climbing circuits, so that all members of the family, friends or anyone can have fun or experience the pure adrenaline of feeling above the trees. In our circuits you will not only have to overcome the fear of heights, but you will also have to face various tests, avoiding obstacles, log platforms, suspended bridges... . each and every one of them with different degrees of difficulty, so that the adventure in our center Porta do Mezio is unforgettable.

But if the heights, obstacles and different challenges that we put in our circuits were not enough, at the end of the tour you will have to slide down a 100 meter long slide. The fun! It is 100% guaranteed without a doubt!

If you are an adventurer and you like the motor world, at Porta Do Mezio, we give you the opportunity to get behind the controls of a kart . But be careful! It is not the typical kart that you are used to seeing... It is apedal kart!

We take the environment into account, and being one of the doors to a World Biosphere Reserve, we have proposed a method of fun, in which the adrenaline is still there present, but without the need to add an engine or fuel involved. Our pedal karts are a super exciting idea so that children can enjoy themselves to the fullest and explore a circuit surrounded by nature.

We are sure that taking control of a pedal kart can be just as fun or even more than a motor kart. The competitiveness will be present whatever the mode, and you also add the desire to want to pedal more and more.

Get to know different species: birds, mammals... and that each and every one of them lodges in our facilities at Porta do Mezio, one of the doors of the Reserve Natural from Peneda - Gêres, it is an opportunity for you to learn by discovering its characteristics and behaviors, in addition to being impressed with the strong> flora of the area.

We give you the opportunity to take a tour of our extensive facilities, up to 3 hectares to discover all the animals that are present. This is an activity to share with the family, because even the little ones will learn and at the same time have fun getting to know the whole world of animals.

As we have told you, we have a wide variety of animals, from farm animals such as donkeys or horses, to animals wild that will make you surprised when you see them, because we are sure that you would not expect them for anything in the world!

The visits to our center will be guided by a fully qualified monitor so that, if any questions arise for your child, friend or even you itself, is resolved in order to understand all aspects of its biology and ecology.
