Hotel feudo

In the province of Agrigento there is a complex designed for equestrian tourism: the Hotel Feudo , immersed in the Burgio "Valle del Sosio" Nature Reserve, in the heart of the renowned Parco dei Monti Sicani , one of the most spectacular places in Sicily .

To discover the magic of some valleys and mountains of Sicily we offer you a truly unforgettable horse trekking that runs through a large hiking ring, with marked trails and connected to each other.

Inside the wood it is possible to admire breathtaking overhangs , ancient oaks , rivers , lakes and springs natural in an uncontaminated nature.

For all horse riding enthusiasts, the farm also offers walks and excursions in the woods of varying lengths. Participants can admire the beauty of the Sosio River, crossing a stretch of its bed.

Its waters penetrate into a deep and rocky gorge eight kilometers long, the so-called 'Listi du firriatu', dominated from above by the picturesque ruins of the Gristia Castle. We then move on to the Solomon's Stone , dating back to the Permian era (over 260 million years ago), to the admirable historic center of Palazzo Adriano , the Hermitage of Santa Rosalia up to the slopes of Monte Cammarata and to the Abbey of S. Maria del Bosco .

The real heart of the walk is the wood, which extends for about 8 thousand hectares and represents the center of the nature reserve embraced by the Sicani Mountains : from the Sosio Valley to Palazzo Adriano and to S. Stefano Quisquina.
