Welcome to Forest of Dean Paintball & Airsoft!
One of Gloucestershire’s premier combat sports venues, we are located south of the Forest of Dean, in Gatcombe Woods. Our 50-acre site is on the bank of the River Severn and includes woodland, valleys and open battlefields, so we can put on all kinds of paintball and airsoft games. The game zones are enhanced by buildings, cover and interesting installations which force players to act tactically.
We offer paintball parties that are ideal for teenagers and adults’ birthdays, stag and hen parties and team building events. Players receive markers and ammo, as well as full face and body protection, before heading out into the arena to enjoy a variety of team games.
We organise airsoft meets once or twice a month. These are open to airsoft veterans who have their own gear and newcomers to the sport who can rent our equipment. We love this sport for the way it simulates real military operations, so come prepared for immersive scenarios and strategic play. We can take individual and group bookings for airsoft days.
We've been in the game for over 20 years, so we know what we’re doing. We take safety seriously, allowing us to welcome players from the age of 11 years old to enlist in the action. We look after everyone who comes onto our site, not forgetting to include lunch in our full-day packages!

Put your trust in Forest of Dean Paintball & Airsoft, a combat sports venue with more than 2 decades’ worth of experience. Paintball games of the highest quality are our speciality. Expansive battlefields, top quality equipment and a team of marshals who put safety first and fun just behind make for the perfect stag or hen party, birthday or corporate event.
Our site covers 50 acres of Gloucestershire wilds. You’ll find us in Gatcombe Woods, to the south of the Forest of Dean, a place where dense woodland gives way to open fields and, eventually, to the Severn Estuary. If you visit us, you’ll be taking cover behind a tree trunk one minute and storming a fort the next, before engaging in exchanges in open terrain.
We can cater to groups with players from the age of 11 years old and up. We supply protective equipment to all participants, alongside paintball markers and starting bags of ammunition. If you come to spend a full day with us, we’ll throw lunch into the bargain as well.

At Forest of Dean Paintball & Airsoft, we certainly are! We’ve been in the combat sports business for more than 20 years and added airsoft to our arsenal several years ago. It’s one of our favourite ways to blow off steam, put smiles on customers’ faces and bring out the best of our large outdoor site in Gloucestershire.
Airsoft is a military simulation game. We welcome long-time fans with custom load-outs as well as newcomers who can take advantage of our equipment rentals to our regular meets and events (we aim to put on two every month). We run games of all kinds, featuring different teams, objectives and play styles.
There are dense wooded areas, unobstructed battlefields and built installations on our 50-acre site. It’s somewhat hidden away in Gatcombe Woods, near Blakeney, but that’s the way we like it! Airsoft comes to life here in a really exciting way for individuals and groups. Bear us in mind if you’ve got a party to organise!
