Looking for new ways to stay active in the great outdoors?

Then take a trip to Forest Fitness NI, where adventurous activities will have you burning calories and getting in shape without you even noticing! Fun is the first principle here, as we put on all kinds of events, games and challenges in a beautiful woodland environment in Carrickfergus, just half an hour’s drive from central Belfast.

First things first, we have an Assault Course made up of natural and built obstacles that’s designed to test the limits of teams of hopefuls. Our other great passion is Airsoft. We run open days for walk-on players, themed events and some full-on MilSim sessions for die-hard fans. Other outdoor activities we offer are Axe Throwing, Laser Tag and NERF Warfare.

Special events and group away days are another big part of our calendar. From boot camps to airsoft meets and bushcraft survival days to boxercise classes, there’s always something going on.

The mastermind behind the whole operation is Lea Vaughan. He’s got active outdoor credentials in bucketloads, having served in the elite ranks of the armed forces, led expeditions to both mountain tops and the seafloor and worked as a personal trainer. But don’t be intimidated, the customers and members of staff are here to have a good time and make positive progress.
