South Face Canyoning: Canyoning in Ardèche
Specialists in Canyoning in Ardèche, we offer full-day or half-day outings for athletes and beginners.
The Cévennes offer us unique rivers. It is in a rhythmic and refreshing atmosphere that you will go from aquatic hiking to large sporting canyons.
You will discover the exceptional erosion of these gorges, a real invitation to play: swimming, slides, jumps and rappels under waterfalls.
Discovery weekend:
-Roujanel Canyon: It is after a beautiful approach walk that you will discover a canyon with emerald-colored water. Swimming, jumping, slides punctuate this wild day.
-Chassezac Canyon: In the heart of the Cévennes, the Chassezac flows between magnificent granite cathedrals. This very varied and aquatic canyon offers magnificent jumps, abseils and slides.

Summary Climbing
Face Sud Escalade: specialist in climbing in Ardèche, offers full-day or half-day outings for beginners and experienced climbers.
In the limestone gorges of Ardèche, on the granite slabs of the Chassezac valley, sky and earth merge. Over the course of a day, these climbs will allow you to discover the vertical world where the notion of a rope takes on its full meaning.
-Family Climbing:
This introductory session allows you to discover climbing as a family with children aged 5 and over.
-Climbing Adults:
This introductory climbing session is reserved for adults. A Face Sud exclusive.
-Adventure Climbing:
Climbing beginners, set out to conquer your first summit. Group climbing, roped up with the guide to reach a small summit.
Face Sud Climbing:waits for you for an authentic day in the heart of the Chassezac gorges to help you discover climbing in an original and adventurous way.
Summary Via Ferrata
Face Sud Via Ferrata: specialists in via ferrata in Ardèche, offer half-day outings for athletes and beginners.
The via ferrata is a vertical hike. Cables, ladders, rope bridges and zip lines will allow you to progress easily to the top.
Devil’s Bridge Via Ferrata
Overlooking the Ardèche in its upstream part, the via ferrata of the Devil's Bridge is absolutely beautiful: chestnut forest, basalt organs and the clear water of the Ardèche for swimming after the effort.
-Required level: Beginner
-Minimum age: 10 years
-Content: Horizontal, vertical, oblique ladder system, Nepalese bridge, monkey bridge, 90m zip line above the water.
-We provide: Harness, helmet, lanyards with dynamic absorber.
-To bring: Sports outfit, sneakers, small backpack, water
