Anim Grotte invites you to come and discover a unique natural site: the site of Saint Christopher with its 7 million year old cave!
You can visit this ancestral site during caving sessions but also during hiking. The center will offer you numerous possibilities for outings through landscapes rich in culture and of history in the heart of Savoie.
The center also organizes numerous activities: visits to the torchlight cave, fun shows for children, meals with games or concerts, etc.
The center organizes services for school outings and recreational centers, in order to offer children an outing that is both cultural and fun. Anim Grotte invites you to go on the hiking trails in the surroundings of Saint Christophe!
You will discover the numerous hiking possibilities on the Ravoire plateau. Several circuits are offered to you, including:
- The Echaillon Loop : You will have the opportunity to take the Sarde Way, and walk to the Ravoire plateau, while enjoying passages on the archaeological sites of the region
- The Boucle d’Aiguenoire : Hike in the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park and discover local craftsmanship with wood cutting!
- The Béatrice de Savoie circuit: Discover the nature of Les Echelles, with its belvedere, the Madeleine chapel!
These circuits will allow you to take a breath of fresh air in the heart of the region’s natural sites. It’s a moment of rejuvenation and relaxation, which you can enjoy with friends or family.

Come explore the Saint Christophe site with Anim Grotte speleology.
You will dive into a 7 million year old cave. Shaped by nature and time, the site includes 2 caves which will surprise you with their hundreds of meters of underground galleries!
The instructors offer youintroductions to caving, with departures organized by reservation. Children can participate in caving outingsfrom the age of 6. Young and old will be able to discover the basic notions of caving, but also the natural specificities of the site or underground orientation.
The professionals who supervise you are qualified and know the place perfectly. Enter the galleries and discover the hidden spaces beneath the surface.
