Acroroc is located in the Parc du Haut Languedoc, 35 km north of Béziers.
The center is essentially made up of state patents with more than 20 years of practice. This experience they offer you:
- A security requirement.
- Varied activities: Caving, Via Ferrata, Canyoning, Climbing, Abracadabranche, Canoeing, Mountain biking, Hiking...And much more!
- Difficulty levels adapted to your experience.
- Small groups per instructor to better guide you.
- Raising awareness of the natural environment.
In short, in their company discover the Hérault as you have never seen it. On land, in the air or on the water... enjoy the different activities in the nature of the Parc du Haut Languedoc.
Summary Canyoning
These take you to what could be called a natural playground, where slides, slides and waterfalls will be waiting for you!
The minimum duration of a canyoning trip will be 3 hours, and can extend to a day trip!
The instructors take you canyoning in the Massif du Caroux, in the Tarn or in Languedoc Roussillon to discover the most beautiful spots, as well as in the Southern Alps and even in Spain.
All technical equipment is provided to you on site. You will only need to bring clothing that is not afraid of water, sports shoes, and a snack. Cereal bars will be ideal! Also remember to bring a swimsuit.
Summary Hiking
The instructors will take you to the best sites in the region, as well as to the Catalan Pyrenees or the Corbières. You will discover reliefs and mythical sites such as:
- Lake Sagalou
- The Bugarach circus
- The Carlit ponds...
The hikes can be sporty, fun or educational depending on your desires and the level of the participants. What's better than the pure mountain air to recharge your batteries during a hike with your loved ones?
Summary Climbing
Hérault is a destination of choice for practicing climbing, due to its reliefs, its cliffs and its exceptional climatic conditions allowing you to practice all year round.
The variety of landscapes allows everyone to practice according to their level.
If you don't yet have much experience in climbing, you will have the opportunity to discover the different techniques in school cliffs, particularly in Béziers, Montpellier or Bédarieux.
If you are already initiated and are looking for a challenge,discover the already equipped Grande Routes such as Hortus or on St Guilhem, but also in the spots of the Caroux massif.
The duration of the climbing sessions depends on your availability and your desires. From half-day to several-day courses, the choice is yours!
Summary Via Ferrata
Thanks to the arrangements on the walls, the via ferrata offers a fun and sensational route for progression accessible to all.
The center offers 2 via ferratas, with several routes available on each to vary the pleasures and adapt the activity to your level:
- Via Ferrata de l'Orb: 2 routes at your disposal, discovery and advanced levels with Tibetan Bridge, Monkey Bridges, Ziplines...Approximately 2 hours.
- Via Ferrata du Thaurac: A fun route with passages through chimney caves. A breathtaking view of the Hérault river. About 3 hours.
Acroroc Via Ferrata provides the following equipment: Helmet, harness with lanyards, descender.
For more originality, the instructors can also take you to dry canyons and caves!
Summary Caving
The center offers caving for all discovery enthusiasts. The youngest are not left out since a children's caving section is dedicated to them, with educational outings in a suitable cave!
As for adults, they can embark on a caving safari by descending into the Ponderatz cave. This slightly more technical cavity promises you many surprises: underground river, use of rope techniques...
Your instructor, Thierry Gayrard, equips you with headlamps, helmets, boots and all the equipment you will need to practice in the best conditions. You will also have the opportunity to discover some of the 4000 caves listed in the department!
Summary Mountain Biking
The Hérault offers a fantastic playground for all mountain bikers! Come and discover it with Acroroc VTT.
Acroroc takes you on mountain bike rides in the heart of the Haut Languedoc park, but also in the Catalan Pyrenees or Corbières!Come explore the mountains à la carte by mountain bike. The instructors take you on descents and crossings of the caroux.
Novices will be able to enjoy a leisurely outing in the Caroux vineyards, and on the winding roads with a negative slope for a peaceful descent.
The more adventurous among you who already have a good sporting condition can embark on a half day, a day or a 100% mountain bike stay.
The center reserves a mode of transport with a bicycle trailer for you to explore the Pyrenees, the Faugérois vineyards or the Caroux massif.
Summary High Ropes
Want to have fun and discover the fabulous world of trees? This is what Acroroc Acrobranche offers you!
However, a magical name was needed to describe this atypical park: Abracadabranche... The Adventure Trail is located in the Caroux massif, not far of the Gorges d'Héric and Colombièresand above all far from the seaside crowds, in the center of the Haut Languedoc natural park! A little paradise for budding adventurers and experienced backpackers alike.
Once there you will discover:
- Several courses in the trees of increasing levels: children, teenagers and adults. Little ones will be able to have fun from the age of 3. The most difficult courses are extremely impressive and are reserved for athletes wishing to push their limits.
- Ziplines, Monkey Bridges, Nets, Spider Webs...Many workshops for more than 3 hours of activity.
You will be accompanied on this adventure by a qualified team who will guide you throughout your journey.
