Acquaterra Adventure Club Kayak invites you to discover the rivers and sea of Sicily aboard our kayaks. Discover a new way to navigate and have fun!

Choose whether to participate in the basic or advanced courses, we offer you various possibilities:

• Complete kayak course: Theory (two lessons) and practice (5 lessons).
• Fast kayak course: Theory (1 lesson) and practice (2 lessons).

If you prefer to go straight into the water for yourself:

• Simple guided excursions on easy river or lake routes (for beginners) or of medium/high difficulty (for already expert canoeists). The itineraries can be very varied: decide whether to explore the Alcantara river, the Simeto, the Ciane, the Cimarosa, the Pollina, the Forza Dagrò, the S.Rosalia lake or the Pozzillo lake.
  These excursions last approximately three hours and are carried out in the period from November to April. The materials for the exit are provided by the school.
• One-day excursions or organize multiple meetings. You camp in a tent and live in direct contact with nature and adventure. There are many possible destinations, including Syracuse, Ragusa and the beautiful Agrigento coast.

Currently replaced by wild river tubing Acquaterra Adventure Club Canyoning wants you to discover the gorges and gorges of Sicily! Come and practice canyoning with us in complete safety!

We offer you this water sport which is an exciting mix of trekking, swimming and mountaineering, all done inside wild gorges. Some of the places where we carry out our descents are the Roccella Torrent, the Licopedi Torrent, the Cataolo Torrent, the Stratta di Buccheri, the Pietralunga Torrent, the Mongiuffi Gorges, the Alcantara Gorges and the Caves of the Iblei Mountains. We organize different types of excursions, from easy to medium-high, lasting 3 to 4 hours and which can be done all year round. We'll provide the material to you!

Moments of commitment and adrenaline that alternate with moments of pure relaxation with restorative baths and magnificent landscape views. Acquaterra Adventure Club Rafting offers you the chance to go down the Sicilian rivers in the company of your friends and in full adventure!

We invite you to participate with your group in exciting descents on foaming rapids aboard special inflatable boats that do not sink and are very safe. If you want to spend a different day and want to try a different experience that you will remember for a long time, you have found the right one for you! The places where we carry out river descents are the Alcantara, Simeto and Cimarosa rivers. The outing lasts about three hours and the possible period is from January to March. The technical equipment is provided by the organization (paddle, waterproof jacket, life jacket, helmet, 3 mm neoprene wetsuit), while you only have to bring your personal clothing (swimsuit, fleece or wool shirt, socks and a change of clothes ).

This water sport is suitable for team buildings, incentives, school trips and various types of celebrations, such as birthdays, graduations and stag parties.

Acquaterra Adventure Club Hydrospeed will allow you to venture into fun river descents, where you will be the protagonist! Go down the rivers of Sicily swimming with the Hydro!

The river sport of Hydrospeed consists of swimming along the river aided and equipped with a floating bob and a pair of fins while playing in the rapids around the volcano.
The itinerary we propose for your river excursion is the Alcantara River. The route is of medium difficulty and runs for approximately 3 km and lasts 3 hours. Come and try it from November to April!
The organization will provide you with hydrospeed, waterproof jacket, life jacket, helmet, 6-7 mm neoprene wetsuit with protectors, fins and neoprene shoes. Bring all your desire for adventure and fun!

This aquatic discipline is truly exciting and will give you the opportunity to feel free and in control of driving your hydro over the waterfalls, following the current in total safety!

Acquaterra Adventure Club Trekking offers you a wide range of excursions to get to know, explore and appreciate the coasts, rivers, sea and Sicilian hinterland!

You can go river trekking: a mixed walking-swimming route along streams, in splendid canyons, lakes and waterfalls. This discipline is similar to Canyoning but easier and without climbing high waterfalls which require the use of ropes. Venture into the quarries of the Iblei Mountains, the Peloritani Mountains or the Nebrodi Mountains. The trails are divided into easy and medium difficulty and last approximately 3 or 4 hours and can be followed throughout the year.

If you prefer the classic, try excursions of one or more days to the most beautiful sites of naturalistic and historical interest in Sicily. Our proposals include the possibility of overnight stays in a tent, refuge or farmhouse. We offer you a wide variety of itineraries: you can range from a simple walk to a longer trek. Furthermore, you can combine this experience with specific activities such as bio-watching, speleo-hiking, or snowshoe excursions. All this will make your excursion more adventurous and interesting.

Acquaterra Adventure Club 4x4 Off-road invites you to explore the Sicilian hinterland aboard our jeeps! Come alone or in company to admire the beauties of Sicily!

You will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to travel along the suggestive routes proposed, which include daily off-road trips or real tours with overnight stays in tents, or in equipped structures along the routes.

The excursions take place on board Land Rover 110 and will be established based on the user's requests regarding the degree of difficulty and the area of action: the guides ofAcquaterra Adventure Club, with their great knowledge of the area they will be able to offer you the best conditions!
Some examples of unmissable excursions:

• 4x4 tour to discover the Nebrodi Mountains and their lake basins
• Excursion around the base of Etna
• exploration of the Alcantara valley or that of Forza d'Agro,
• By off-road vehicle to the Catafulco waterfall,
• crossed by the Nebrodi mountain range,
• Iblean Mountains and their quarries
• Discovering the courses of two important Sicilian rivers, the Simeto and the Cataolo.

Excursions are carried out throughout the year and the duration varies based on the chosen route. Technical equipment is included in participation in an excursion.

Activity Temporarily suspended!!! Acquaterra Adventure Club Climbing invites you to try the exciting and adventurous sport of climbing. Come and experiment with free climbing!

We organize both technical courses for beginners and guided excursions, aimed at those who already practice this sport.
Our qualified and expert instructors will follow you, guaranteeing you complete safety and at the same time emotions and adrenaline. With us you can also practice climbing in lessons at the artificial wall of Acquaterra, also suitable for children.

The places where the climbing takes place are decided based on the needs of the participants and the climatic conditions between Modica, Syracuse, Castelmola and Etna. The trips last half a day and can be done all year round. The equipment provided by the organization consists of a helmet, harness, shoes, ropes and carabiners.

Acquaterra Adventure Club MTB invites you to participate in exciting Mountain Bike Tours through the lands of beautiful Sicily. Come alone or with friends, we promise you an unrepeatable experience!

Take advantage of the opportunity to find yourself on suggestive off-road routes for the duration of one or more days, immersed in uncontaminated nature. Come and discover the slopes on the top of the volcano and on the most beautiful Sicilian mountains, explore the routes of ancient railways, the dirt roads along the river banks, the routes on the smaller islands. Also enjoy the possibility of overnight stays in tents, refuges or farmhouses.

The routes can be decided based on your needs, abilities and desires. Our guides are trained and experienced and will be able to easily create an excursion suitable for you! The organization provides the following equipment: helmet and mountain bike. We only ask you to bring a lot of energy and desire to cover the kilometres!
