Abruzzo Mountain Guides

Abruzzo Mountain Guides is the only mountain school on the L'Aquila side of the Gran Sasso accredited by the UIAGM.

The school is located in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, surrounded by one of the most evocative landscapes of central Italy.

The proposed activities are:

• mountaineering training courses, ice climbing
• dry tooling
• ski touring
• freeride sport climbing
• hiking
• notions of snow science and safety

Abruzzo Mountain Guides wishes to promote traditional mountaineering practiced in a responsible way, creating tailor-made itineraries for students, teaching rope maneuvers and the use of tools in total respect for the environment.

Guided ascents are also offered in various European, Asian and American destinations.
