Welcome to IMBA-UK

We are an organisation supporting mountain biking in the UK and Ireland, and the only organisation solely representing mountain bikers in the UK. The increase in popularity of mountain biking has lead to a greater need for trails, and we work to keep access to existing trails as well as opening new ones. Our work with the Forestry Commission has lead to the development of high quality mountain biking trails in Wales and Scotland, with an increasing commitment in England.

We are a fully democratic organisation and a non-profit group. We are funded by our supporters and our members, and we work for our members. However to be truly effective we need to have a strong membership base so we can represent the wants and needs of the UK mountainbiker when speaking with the government, local councils and land managers.
