• Corralejo: if you are looking to discover the spectacular Lobos Island and sail the sea with a tour of your dreams, look no further than the town of Corralejo. Known for its large Natural Park, here you can enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the island by hiring a speedy jet ski. Best of all, you'll find skis for two, so here you'll also have the opportunity to experience this adventure with the best of company.

This is definitely our preferred option, because if you choose the route to Lobos Island, once you get there you will be able to dive into the deepest part of the seabed with a snorkell, and if you get lucky you might even be accompanied down there by dolphins - you'll be amazed!

• Caleta de Fuste: in Puerto Castillo you will find an abundance of offers for a day of adventures on the water, and as you would expect, jet ski hire is one of the most popular activities. And no wonder! Here you can do a circuit that will give your body an adrenaline rush. It is also much more exciting than the tours, because you have more freedom and an instructor does not need to accompany you.

You'll jump at the chance to grab a jet ski and challenge your friends to a race on the circuit, before carrying on with your enjoyment of this wonderful place with a sit-down meal in one of the restaurants overlooking the sea - the best way to get your energy back.

• Costa Calma: what could we tell you about this place... It is a paradise in Fuerteventura, one of many, that you could not miss for anything in the world, whether you want to enjoy a quiet day at the beach or a wild ride on a jet ski to discover the wonders of this coastline. One of its beaches, Sotavento, is one of the locations in the Canary Islands where sporting events are often held. Just imagine what the vehicles on offer here must be like. Jetting along this coastline at full speed is something you must do if you want to experience a real day of adventure in the Atlantic.

What kinds of jet ski trails are there in Fuerteventura?

After having a look at the destinations you'll visit if you come to Fuerteventura to rent a jet ski, you may be wondering- what are the different circuits and tours you can do on the island? Well, we are pleased to tell you that you can make a choice when you're there, depending on what you want to experience and how much time you want to spend on the day.

To give you a rough idea, it is normal for the excursions to cover the entire coastline and all of the beaches around the area where you hired the jet ski, as the time you can enjoy the scooters is 40 minutes give-or-take. For example, if you go to Costa Calma, you will spend this time getting to know the Sotavento and Esmeralda beaches, among others, accompanied by an instructor who will take you to the best spots. Even if you have some experience, you can have the freedom to rent the scooter on your own and be your own guide.

However, there are also locations like at Corralejo, where, as you have already seen, you will have the chance to explore further afield and explore Lobos Island. For this reason, certain routes will take longer and can reach up to 2 hours. Also, keep in mind that this activity lasts longer, as the route can be combined with other sports such as snorkelling. We don't want you to miss out on anything!

And if you are somebody who wants to try this experience for the first time, there is nothing better than trying one of the closed circuits, such as the one in Caleta de Fuste. It lasts about 20 minutes, which you can always extend with another round if you haven't had enough yet. We recommend this type of activity, because it's perfect for a first-time experience, as you'll have to follow a route clearly marked with buoys and you won't stray too far from the area.

Who can ride a jet ski in Fuerteventura?

If you want to be the one driving the jet ski at all times and feel the pure adrenaline rush, you have to be at least 16 years of age. And the best of all is that you don't have to have any previous experience, because our instructors will provide you with a short introductory course to get you ready for the adventure.

This doesn't mean that the little ones can't enjoy the experience, as they can get on the bike with an adult rider, as long as they are over 8 years old.
