Did a vacation bring you to Nice, France? Or do you reside there? Regardless of your situation, if excitement and thrill are what you seek, then a jet ski excursion is ideal for you! You can see the famed Côte d'Azur from a different perspective and savour the beauty of its azure waters. So, treat yourself to a jet ski adventure, a machine that is simple to operate and can provide you with a fun and exciting sea trip with family or friends. On this page, we recommend the finest deals available on the market:

What factors should be considered before doing a ride?

There are several jet ski rental alternatives, ranging from 15 minutes to 3 hours, for both expert and inexperienced riders and all budgets. As a result, anyone can participate in this activity!

If you are new to the activity, you can participate in an initiation guided by a state-certified teacher who will teach you how to operate the jet ski before bringing you out to the waters from the Carras beach.

You must first decide whether you want to go alone or in couples on this jet ski. There is, in fact, the option of renting a single-seater or a two-seater. A two-seater is the best option if you're conducting this sport with a group and some of you don't want to drive the jet ski directly. Groups of up to ten persons are permitted, allowing you to plan an outing with family or friends. Note that you must be a minimum of 16 years to operate a jet ski.

Be aware that you can still go for a sea ride even if it rains, which is uncommon in the summer, whether in Nice or elsewhere in Provence: the only thing to consider is the sea conditions.

Even if you go there in the beautiful Provençal summer sun, we advise against wearing a t-shirt and/or bathing suit: the combination is the most appropriate in this case, first to protect you from the sun's rays, unlike a simple jersey, and secondly to prevent your clothes from becoming heavy if you get wet, as cotton clothes would. However, you won't need to bring the life jacket with you, because the latter is provided by the partner company in charge of the activity.

What kinds of options are available?

You've already walked through the streets of Nice and seen the famed 'Croisette' or the Promenade des Anglais on the seaside, and now you want to see more of the city's sights and breathtaking views from the water? Explore the several alternatives available to you, each of which will offer assorted vistas depending on the amount of time you spend on your rental jet ski:

• The Baie des Anges Little Hike (single or two-seater): This option will allow you to enjoy a thrilling moment loaded with sensations on the water, from your departure from Carras Beach to your arrival at the lovely port of Nice, with its private yachts. This excursion will also provide you with a unique perspective from the water on the Palais Maeterlinck, one of Nice's most majestic landmarks that overlook the Baie des Anges. This ride is only 15 minutes long, which is ideal if you're trying out jet-skiing for the first time.

• Baie des Anges Hike (single-seater or two-seater) for 30 minutes: Just like the previous option, you will stay at the Baie des Anges to admire the city of Nice from the Mediterranean, but you will be able to enjoy a longer and more exciting time on the jet ski! This sport is also suitable for people who have previously been able to ride a jet ski but are not yet specialists.

• 1 hour – Alizé ride (for one or two people): You can perform your sporty ride from the beach of Carras, in the Baie des Anges, and to the Rade de Villefranche, another lovely seaside town on the French Mediterranean beachfront, on this trip geared for persons who already have some expertise on a jet ski.

• 2 hours Nice excursion – Horizon (single-seater or two-seater): For the more experienced, there is a 2-hour jet ski course, allowing you to live a complete experience, and this route from Nice to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, with its preserved natural landscapes and panorama. You will also see many luxurious villas and properties. You'll pass via Villefranche on your way here and Èze, a small medieval village nestled between a sandy beach and monuments constructed on a rocky promontory.

• 2 hours and 30 minutes tour – Lérins Islands (single or two-seater): A rather long sea hike for the more experienced, which will allow you to see Saint Laurent du Var, Old Antibes, a mediaeval village such as Èze, Golf Juan, and the Lérins Islands before returning to the base. Composed of many islands, the most notable of which are Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, this is one of the most natural and well-maintained archipelagos. The magnificent abbey, which dates from 1073, may be seen on the latter.

• 3 hours route Jetski – Monaco (single-seater or two-seater): This last route, which we recommend to the most passionate jet skiers, departs from Nice Bay and heads East, passing through the Rade de Villefranche, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and its preserved beauty, the fabulous Èze, and some more of the landscape: here, you will have the opportunity to see Cap-d'Ail, a seaside village whose beach is perched on the edge of a magnificent cliff. Finally, the cherry on the cake is that you will arrive in Monaco, a stunning principality in the heart of the Provençal coast.

With all of these exciting options, a fantastic expedition is guaranteed! Explore the beautiful panoramas of the Provençal seashore, its blue waves, unspoiled environment, iconic towns and villages, and, for the most daring ones, the renowned Rock itself!
