The Pony Club

The Pony Club has been around for decades. It is a club for youths interested in ponies and riding. It was founded in 1929 and has about 345 branches and 600 centres in the UK. The club hosts many different competitions every year. They even offer test and achievement badges. Some of the disciplines that youths can take part in are:

The objective of the group is to encourage young people to ride and teach them horsemanship and how to properly take care of a pony. They also want to promote sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty to create strength of character and self-discipline. Membership is available to those under the age of 21.
